Looks like mold is forming on carrier where baby drools a lot. Anyone else experience this?

What are the pros and cons with each fabric type?? I really want one of these but I have no bloody idea which one I should get!

All are supportive, machine washable, and adjustable to grow with baby. Benefits of the 3D mesh are quick drying and extra breathable. The 3D jersey is stretchy and super soft. The cotton is a bit more structured. If you can get to a store to feel the difference in person that definitely helps!
