Sperry Unisex-Teen Authentic Original 2-Eye Boat Shoe

I bought my first pair of top-sliders at Disney World. I wore them most of the trip (7-14 miles a day) and then about half the week for the next 3 years. They are simply amazing. Comfortable, breathable, real leather and you can wear them without socks. This is my second pair of the originals and third pair of sperry branded shoes. All of them have been wonderful. The upper being 100% genuine leather is a big seller for me. The ball of my feet tend to be wide and they stretch very well. Seem to fit true to shoe size.

I just finished a 5 star review of a CD drive for my Dell laptop that Amazon delivered, right part, ahead of time, perfect. Scanning down the list of things we have bought from Amazon I came on these Topsiders which were not so good. I am an 83-year old sailor and have gone through several pairs of Topsiders during my life. I went ahead and used these shoes but everytime I put them on I look at the wrinkled leather of one of the shoes and wonder if these shoes slipped past quality control. The leather of the right shoe is soft and wrinkled while the other shoe looks more normal. I have hand-stitched the right shoe when the stitching failed and notice in the photo a grommet has come out. The soles seem to have less traction than I remember from earlier Topsiders I have worn. I have put some miles on the shoes and am not asking for a replacement, just speaking my mind. I think they slipped through some filter somewhere. Thanks for letting me vent.

Sperry boat shoes arrived as expected. Good quality and decent price. I suggest you order a half-size large as they run a bit small. I wear a 9 1/2 shoe quite consistently, but ordered a size 10 due to Amazon size suggestion, and the fit was just right.

This is my 5th or 6th pair of these Sperry boat shoes. I've tried buying other brands because these tend to be quite expensive, but none of them holds up as long as these. I also find that my feet never stink when I wear these barefoot, not sure why. Sperry makes the best boat shoes, but these "Authentic Original" version is the best in my opinion. These were $30 less on Amazon, so I bought another pair even though my current pair is still going strong.

I’ve had several pairs of these over the years. They comfortable and work well when dress shoes are too much and tennies are too little.. They’re very durable and stylish (unusual combo). I have unusually high arches and hardly ever touch the shoes’ arch, but they appear to be average. I love’em!

To me, Sperry's the only boat shoe of quality and reliability. This purchase's a real value for $$$. Item well recvd, true to size and description. To complete my collection, the Navy colored pair is much sought after.
