Good product. Cat doesn’t mind it mixed in her wet food. Cat is 10 years old and I noticed she wasn’t jumping up into her favourite places anymore. Seems to help with her hip pain and her coat is so nice now. Sleek and shiny. No more dandruff. Give her 1/4 teaspoon a day in her wet food for a 10 lb cat. 1/2 tsp was too much and made her sick

Giving this a 5-star rating because it is a high quality product and my dog did enjoy the taste of it. She is a 16-year-old Shih Tzu that I’m trying to give more collagen to to get ahead of any joint issues (she’s doing great so far and hasn’t slowed down and I want to keep it that way). A year ago I tried homemade bone broth that unfortunately gave her diarrhea no matter how slowly I introduced her to it. I put her on a probiotic and gave her tummy a break and then started researching different supplements to give her for collagen. I selected this one because it’s a powder and not a chew pill. Powders are easier to control so it would make dosing easier to manage to hopefully avoid tummy problems. It arrived on time and I gave her the recommended dose on the package (my mistake, I didn’t think to start small). For 2 weeks we were good and then she had diarrhea so I had to stop giving it to her. After a couple of days of being back to normal, I tried giving her a small amount to build back up and she had the diarrhea again. So we are taking another break. I believe in this product and want to feed it to her because it is made of quality ingredients with the best collagen - this is the only product on the market for pets I could find with the type of pure collagen that’s been proven to make a different for dogs. Unfortunately my girl has a sensitive tummy (Shih Tzus as a whole are very sensitive to protein) but if you have a different breed or if your Shih Tzu isn’t as sensitive as my girl, you should absolutely give this product a try. She reacts this way to proteins so this is confirmation this product is quality, real collagen and not a washed-out variety. She wasn’t on it long enough for me to rate the effectiveness, but if I can get ahead of her sensitivity I know she will be able to have this for the long term. I recommend this collagen and if you’re considering it, you should give it a try!

My senior dog, Julieta, is allergic to chicken (skin allergy), and I have tried other joint supplements containing UC-II that unfortunately triggered her allergies. This is the first one we’ve tried that contains UC-II and has caused absolutely no allergic reaction. For context at the beginning of the year she got sick and lost a lot of weight and muscle mass, thats why i kept trying new options. I started giving her Fera Collagen Plus about three weeks ago, along with a consistent rehabilitation and exercise routine, and we have already noticed a significant improvement in her muscle mass. At her most recent therapy session, her vet was impressed by the difference. The bony area around her hip used to be very prominent because of the muscle she had lost, and now it is noticeably better covered. I really believe this product it’s helping her.

My dog is an AB has serious skin issues and this helped so much. We’ve been able to cut back on her Apoquel. She hates it, but will eat it as usual now. We started with a small amount and gradually increased to the recommended dose. It took a few weeks to kick in but definitely made a big difference.
