Initial review. I will update if anything changes. So, I watched my husband be the manly man he was and install this AC unit before we settled down for the evening. It took him an unusual amount of time to install, but thats because he's as scattered brained as a donkey at a rodeo. After it was installed we let it run for a good 20 mins on fan mode... then came the real feat... Figuring out this ginormous remote with a screen reminiscent of my 2002 Nokia cellphone... Im unsure that either of us actually understood how to use it, but we mutually pretended. I got ready for bed in my normal t shirt and hoodie, because my husband feels the need to have two industrial fans in our bedroom on at all times. I tell him as I lay down for my slumber that I am rather warm, shall we try this bad boy out? Now I had heard for days leading up this AC has flash cool. So he proceeds to turn it on, and our dog Cooper the pooper trooper decided he was hot and changed the settings almost immediately with his nose...which made my husband mad!! The last thing I remember my husband saying is "I said Flash Cool" 7 hours later I woke up with 4 inch icecicles hanging from each nostril respectively, my teeth chattered so hard im pretty sure im suffering from a bout of TMJ. It took me a good 20 minutes to summon the courage to leave the warmth of my bed, but I finally did and about broke my neck from the snow fall that had coated my bedroom floor. Once I was able to get dressed and form a sentence I proceeded to ask my husband if he was frozen to the toilet and indeed he was. If anyone needs glass cut, feel free to hit me up. Pros: Very Cold, Very Quiet Cons: Dogs can change settings with nose...

Best window unit I have ever used/owned! This thing is a beast and it uses about 30% of the energy and non inverter unit would use. The app allows you to track energy usage and turn it on and off from anywhere using wifi. I'm glad I spent the money up front for the better unit. It is quieter than normal 10000 BTU units but It did arrive with a minor dent though.

Fantastic ac unit. I love the app that allows me to control the unit from a far. Keeps room cool and is energy efficient. The unit was easy to install is super quiet.

Only had it for a couple weeks and it already has an unbelievably annoying rattling sound when it’s on. For the price, I’d expected better.

Quiet and cold. I can actual hear my TV without turning way up. My son who love air turned down to 76 is comfortable at 80. Now to see how electric bills run.

I am VERY pleased with this air unit. I was a bit skeptical of the Brand as I had never heard of it before. Do not be fooled. This thing is a beast for the price of admission.. I'm a large man. I stay hot. My personal "Sleep" scene is 66°, Flashcool on, and even the louvers oscillate up and down to help disperse and distribute the air more efficiently. Speaking of efficiency, This thing has a regular ECO mode and an iEco mode. If sound is an issue for you, this unit can be setup to be just that, whisper quiet. Not just the fans but the compressor itself. I don't mind a little extra noise for the added comfort of a cool pillow and cold bedroom. This unit is a dual inverter design. Think of it as a two stage compressor. I don't want to get very technical but there are so many options and configurations to help you find and stay at your most comfortable and desirable room temperature. And once you find it, you can even store it as a scene or favorite setting inside the included mobile app. I came from Samsung and LG small units. I thought they performed and offered well enough. After having this, I have ZERO regrets that I took a chance on Midea. It does a fantastic job and I pray this thing lasts forever.. 😁 If you're on the fence about this unit, hop on over.
