Good brazil single origin coffee beans
I used to get brazil single origin coffee beans from a source that's no longer available. I found another brand of comparable quality but it's very expensive and the only bag size they sell is 12 oz. So now to this Fresh Roasted Coffee brand: it definitely tastes very similar to other single origin brazil coffee beans I tried in the past, not acidic, not bitter, somewhat sweet, with a very slight earthy note to it. I'm not a coffee snob but I can tell that the roast is light, just like what it says on the bag. Price wise, it's within my budget, and the good thing is that they offer larger bag sizes. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase. I hope the seller is able to maintain the product quality.

This coffee is outstanding!
Edit - since my original review I've bought this two more times and am ordering another 2 lbs bag now. The Brazil Minas Gerais is consistently great. This has become my daily cup. ------ I've reviewed quite a few of these Fresh Roasted Coffee offerings the last several months, they're quickly becoming my go-to brew. This review is for the Brazil Minas Gerais light roast. This coffee is fantastic, I've been thrilled since the moment I scooped some out of the bag. While brewing the scent is faintly floral and fruity and it's got a good bloom to it. Taste-wise, it's very chocolatey with very slight fruit and sweet hints, and mouth feel is thick, rather malty and almost syrupy. It's so good! I can't recommend this enough, I can't say enough good things about it, and my recommendation is to just buy a bag and enjoy. I'll definitely be getting more. ------ Disclaimer: I French press all my coffee in a steel press, and use an electric kettle for careful temperature control of the water (202f at time of pour) and I pre-warm the press with warm water before brewing. Your results may vary if you brew with different methods like moka pot, espresso, chemex, Clever dripper, or standard coffee maker.
