This STUFF WORKS GREAT (and now out of stock/gone??) NOOOOOOOOO!
I came back for a second bottle to have on hand and its GONE, I paid just under $13.00 and now similar is with OTHER SELLERS for 29.00+++ Hmmmph, seems fishy to me. Will NOT buy at that inflated price, will look for it somewhere else except on Amazon if its not coming back, or something with same ingrediants on Chewy etc. Nope, sorry not paying $29.00 something for this. BUT THIS STUFF IS AWESOME! Back to my review, my small breed pup has had the runs since the day I got him. The first few days his breeder said it was cuz the vet wormed him. I've raised enough of my own pups to know that no...these sorts of runs do not go on THIS long after worming. He has seen the vet three times now in 2 months, had his shots, been wormed, re wormed by vet with several types of wormers, you name it NOTHING helped. And who wants to play with a poopy puppy. Now he was healthy and upbeat, never really dehydrated as most pups with chronic runs/illness did so I wasn't THAT worried, but I was still as miserable as he was. I was changing wee wee pads every hour and having to keep confined to a playpen and crate 24/7. He was stepping in it. And overnight I Knew I would wake up to him swimming in something akin to a puppy pig wallow of the runs needing a good 30 minutes plus or major put the gloves on cleaning. I was seriously starting to think I CANNOT HANDLE THIS he has to go! He was seriously having the runs 2-3 times an HOUR. It was like watery mud. But never formed or firm. The last vet visit a few weeks ago and he was re wormed and we discussed that the breeder had raised him on some 100% organic *rap. So his digestion was overly sensitive to the real world of being a dog and dog food and snacks that are yummy but not 100% organic. I took him off Purina, which I have raised every single dog I ever owned on for a lifetime and bought a SMALL bag of that fancy-free and pure supposedly organic kibble stuff. 50 some dollars for a SMALL BAG. Right. Still THE RUNS....I per the vet cut out all treats, snacks etc. that all my other dogs have with no problem. NO IMPROVEMENT. And I felt so BAD this pup could not have normal things that all pups get from loving owners. I was in a months time gone through close to 200+ wee pads. My back was KILLING me from the misses and cleaning the floor. And I was sad given how much I had paid for this VET CHECKED pup plus all the pads, new food etc. Then I added in a little of the purina with the insanely priced pure and free stuff, as no dog of mine will ever be on that hoty toty dog food made of two supposedlyyyyyy organic ingredients. Dogs are not meant to eat that way. So I opted to do a 3 day worming session myself (Ive done this before nothing new to me or my vet) Heavy duty hard core, treat it like it was giardia. A LITTLE improvement. Meaning- less runs and that was about all. After that, I opted for a doggie probiotic bought here on Amazon. No improvement, but I'm sure it helped to put the good stuff back in his gut after all that worming. Kept on the strict diet fancy food and no treats regiment. Now I have given dogs human pepto and amdoium in the past but I like for the vet to give me a dosage and this guy is SMALL. So..I bought this. I was a little worried given some of the reviews that it would be unmarked, spilled or half empty. My bottle came neatly and professionally packaged and wrapped with no spillage, but over 100 degrees the way it was shipped-a little worried there. The dosing was clearly marked on the bottle. Dose one-still had the runs. I did syringe in the mouth. (I dosed every 12 hours as per bottle) Dose two, on food-ate it with no problem though I got a slight hint of mint from it. Bothered me more than him. Stool starting to look more formed but still muddy. Does three, on food-FORMED but still very loose, still a YAY for me! And at much more normal intervals, not -several times an hour!- I have never been so excited over puppy poo in all my life. lol Added in the probiotic between doses. Allowed a treat and non rawhide chewy stick. Dose four day 2, NORMAL STOOLS for the first time since I brought this pup home, and 3 vet visits later. Not having to change wee pads every hour, AMAZING. Pup is pooping normal stools in a normal way, and not every hour, I AM SO HAPPY! No cramping or straining though he did look confused, perhaps because I was cheering him on. Could just pick up with a paper towel, did not even have to change wee pad! WOW. Could let him out to run and play with no worries, and even mixed in some of my Purina with that fancy stuff, he was SO HAPPY, I was SO HAPPY. Gave one more lower dose tonight and will stop and see what happens and take it up with the vet too, AGAIN. But when everything else failed and I DO MEAN EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING vet care and meds and diet changes, this stuff worked amazingly fast, pup happy, did not seem to mind the taste tho I smelled a hint of mint, no miserable stomach cramps, Happy Pup, VERY HAPPY OWNER! SO WHY IS IT NO LONGER FOR SALE?!?!? I WANT A COUPLE BOTTLES OF THIS FOR ALL MY DOGS ON HAND JUST IN CASE as messy poo/the runs happens no matter what the age of your dog. PLEASE BRING IT BACK at this reasonable price!

Vet Tech here - it works!
Our 12.5yo Great Dane has always had a nervous tummy and the last couple of months has been especially hard on her nerves with a kid graduating high school, home renovations, us all away from home more than normal and it caught up to her in the form of diarrhea...just 2 days before we were supposed to leave on an annual cross country trip in our camper! We were dreading the trip, wondered if we needed to go to the vet to get something but they didn't have openings for several days and we literally had to leave to pick up one of our kids halfway across the country after a school trip, then I came across this and a few other items that could be shipped same day - heck yeah. I will preface this by saying I'm a retired veterinary technician and if your dog has diarrhea for more than 2 days, you should see your vet. Do as I say, not as I do basically, LOL. I knew there was nothing else wrong with my dog besides pure anxiety, she had no other symptoms, still happy, playful, wanted to eat, no vomiting, evening else normal except diarrhea, and she hadn't gotten into anyone she shouldn't either, so this is the route I chose. I bought several chicken flavored probiotic, pectin, and clay paste tubes (there are several brands-all basically the same just pay attention to the dosages by weight so you know how many you'll actually need - my dog is 100lbs and we went through 1 tube per day). I also bought a powder/flake pumpkin and apple (pectin) called "Diggin your dog" something. Ok, so at first, I tried the probiotic pectin clay tube paste, no food. It helped some. Then I added the powder pumpkin (for my dog, it was 3tbsp twice daily). Helped a bit more. I did this for several days and added her food back in. Her poo was definitely firmer than the previous liquid poo but not even close to a poo of any form. But no diarrhea all over the floors so that was a huge win. I stopped the paste and switched to this Vets Preferred kaolin only liquid. 1tbsp for my Great Dane twice daily. She got it twice yesterday with her food. I still kept the pumpkin powder in there for the pectin and the fiber to do everything I could to firm it up more. I added water to the food because remember vet tech here, hydration is important when there is diarrhea. WOW. I should have started with this liquid on day 1! Today for the first time in well over a week, she had a regular, much more firm, poo. I don't know if it was all the stuff I did prior to this that helped so much or if the concentration of the clay is that much higher in this by itself but I think I will be keeping this (and the powder pumpkin apple) on hand at all times. I think the probiotic paste has its place but maybe after the diarrhea is more under control. I'd use this liquid first.

Decent for short term, but should see a vet still
Helped make the diarrhea into a very soft stool. Would recommend going to a vet as well, which I did as soon as I could. This is a decent short term fix if Amazon is faster than getting an appointment at your vet. It did something, but was not a complete fix.

Liquid gold
My dog caught a case of the absolute wretched squirts, and my house was quickly becoming a biohazard zone. I paid extra for same-day shipping in pure desperation, and this miracle bottle showed up in under three hours!! I gave him the medicine as soon as it arrived. Two doses later and the brown tsunami officially ceased ๐ญ It plugged him up safely without constipating him, and he had zero side effects. I gave it to him for four days until his stomach completely settled out. This stuff saved me hundreds in emergency vet bills and kept me from burning my house down. Heโs healthy, happy, and fully normal again. Worth every single penny!

Works very well
Iโm very happy with this product . My two dogs had the severe diarrhea after getting boarded at a doggie care center . Luckily the stool test indicated there was no infectious disease, so we can only assume it was caused by stress. This medicine has helped tremendously keep the problem under control. Unlike the kaolin prescribed by the vet , my dogs donโt seem to mind this medicine mixed with their food .
