This product is incredible. I have been struggling to find the proper way to cut Formica sheets to laminate a wood countertop in my workshop This is my first time doing this kind of work.This is incredibly easy and very effective to use. Using a metal ruler clamped on top of the Formica sheet, you start itching on the top part with firm, steady strikes, after three or four you can get an extremely clean cut. I am now encouraged to do this on the rest of my workshop counters.

Used this to trim some Formica laminate I was using to build a table. Very simple and easy, make a few passes with this tool, then bend it over an edge, and SNAP it breaks perfectly on the score line. Be careful though, it will leave a sharp edge on the laminate! Not a problem, I then glued it down with contact cement and trimmed with a router. I have no idea why you see all the YouTubers cutting their laminate with a table saw, this is so much easier!

I tried cutting Formica laminate for the first time. Initially, I tried cutting the piece I needed with a jigsaw. The laminate started to crack, and I couldn't get a clean cut. Then I bought this tool and tried to straighten my first crooked cut. And I succeeded! It's a good thing I cut the piece with the jigsaw with extra material, so I ended up with the piece I needed. This knife turned out to be a very good purchase! I should have used it from the start.
