CanCooker Original Convection Steam Cooker | 4 Gallon

I have the junior but wanted the larger to have for more people. Did a seafood boil and it was easy and amazing!!

The large Can Cooker is very versatile and can be used on a stove, a propane or charcoal grill, over an open pit fire in the back yard or a campfire in the mountains. I gave one to each of my married children for Christmas for their families to use indoors and outdoors. They love them. Great for lots of corn on the cob done at the same time. Cook stews, potatoes, other veggies, chili, about anything you want; especially helpful when you need quantities. They seal much like hot pots, but don't necessarily require electricity to work.

These can cookers are amazing!! We have one that we keep in the motorhome to take camping and I ordered another one to keep at home to use on the grill or stove!! We've done low-country boil for up to 8 people with this size. It's easy and if you follow the recommendations for covering it in bar soap (Ivory) before you put it in the fire, it's really easy to clean too! The fellow who came up with this idea is really on to something. We've done crab, shrimp, sausage, chicken, corn on the cob, onions, mushrooms, peppers, it's pretty much endless. If you like steamed "stews", or soups...this is the cooker for you!! Money well spent!

I watched several videos of people using the CanCooker and wanted to purchase one immediately. I was not disappointed by this product. The quality is very good - the only complaint I have is that the lid shows some wear from where it gets latched down. It cooks well and delivers as promised. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a great addition to their camping cookwear.

I got the CanCooker yesterday and it arrived in two days as promised. I stove top cooked the recipe "Seafood Feast "CanCooker" Style" that I found on the Web and it turned out very good and it was a LOT of food! Being able to cook a large amount of food with the least amount of effort is probably the best attribute of the CanCooker. However, you could probably do the same thing with less time by using a large pressure cooker or you could simply use a large pot with a tight fitting lid. The positives: - Cooks a lot of food at once - Camper friendly - Comes with a cloth bag - Not hard to clean up (heat up about a gallon of water with the lid on for ten minutes to loosen up the stuck food on the inside) - The clamp down lid (tip overs won't ruin your meal) - The silicone gasket is heavy and should last a long time - It is unique (looks cool) The negatives: - Fairly expensive for an aluminum pot - Needs some king of temperature gauge - Needs a reinforced bottom to prevent burning of food on the bottom (I would not use without the CanCooker racks) - Should come with the racks (sold separately)

Very easy to use awesome food over a campfire quick and easy and enough food for a group. Just awesome 🤗

Buy one you will love it ! I am giving my girl friend one for christtmas with the rack and pack of Can Cooker seasonings. She loves the one I have. We use it on a regular basis. Use Pam Non Stick Spray in it and it cleans up easy. The Rack is a must have. It keeps the food off the bottom and allows the liquid to do its job. You won't be dissapointed if you buy one of these. The rack fits the 2 qt JR and the 4 qt large Can Cooker. It is cheaper if you buy the rack and seasoning and th can cooker seperately.

I bought for my brother for Christmas. He is and outdoors type of guy. He absolutely loved it. It Cooks just like it says and the food is awesome. One thing this one did not come with a basket or black inside I had to buy that separately.

Awesome unit for camp meals when you're feeding a crew. It's simple to use, just fill it up with your ingredients get it up to temp then simmer. Coors fast and keeps all the flavour in as opposed to boiling it out.
