Lansinoh Breastmilk Storage Bags, 6 Ounce, 100 Count

After discovering that Madela bags can make your milk smell and taste rancid, I switched. But, I also did a little comparison work: Lansinoh bags can hold up to 6 ounces of breast milk. Medela bags can hold up to 5 ounces of breast milk. Lansinoh: On the simplest level, the Lansinoh bag is easier to open and pour milk into than the Medela bag. The reason I find it easier is because of the material the bag is made out of and the bag is more pliable. You open the bag by removing a small strip that is perforated on the top. There are two seals on these bags, which is a huge plus. It's a comfort in preventing leaks. The reason why Lansinoh wins the freezing process is because they lay flat very well. I've found that when laid flat, the bag freezes into a solid rectangle of milk that is consistent in thickness. It is also easy to "stack" once frozen which is very helpful for organizing. It's also important to squeeze all the air out of the bag which is much easier to do since there is not a large plastic section at the top, like in the Medela bags. Medela: The Medela bags have the ability to be attached directly to a pump. As a result, there is a large plastic area on the top of the bag that is perforated. This makes these bags a little bit more awkward to open. Lansinoh: Since these bags are fantastic for the freezing process, they are easier to thaw because they are consistently the same thickness. They look like a perfect rectangle of frozen milk. Or you can freeze the bag standing up. My husband loves how easy it is to thaw these out. Way easier than Medela. Medela: Bag leaks when you thaw it and sometimes they leak in the freezer (which really is a mess). This is because there is only one seal instead of the double seal on the Lansinoh bags.

Got a freezer full of these things and they do pretty well. I don't think their estimate lines are any worse than any other brand - there will always be some little bit off when it's a bag. The double zip really keeps liquid locked in. I have set these beside me on the bed after filling them and they don't leak when closed tightly. But do make sure they are closed even if you stand them up because they can easily tip over and spill! I've also had one or two that got scraped by the freezer closing and didn't realize it and the bag leaked when it was thawed. That was a pain, but something that I think could happen with any freezer bag.

My wife picked them up, and let's just say our daughter was very happy with the delivery. When a new mom has a strong opinion about a product, you listen — and she has made it crystal clear that these are her go-to breastmilk storage bags, no debate. From what she's told us, the bags seal securely and she's never had a leak, which when you're talking about stored breastmilk is honestly the whole ballgame. Good value for what you get, and the quality has been consistent across the whole box. If I'm being honest, I don't have any complaints — and more importantly, neither does she. LOVE. Im not the type of person to leave reviews *so it means something lol*. I had a bunch of extra bags from other people (this brand included but they were from 3 yrs ago) I ran out of them so I tried the next brand.... did not like them at all, they were bulky and didnt give u a spot to leave how much milk was in the bag. I went on Amazon to find more of this brand and I was skeptical bc it did not look like the ones I had, thought well it was 3 yrs ago when they were purchased so probably a design update. Well let me tell you that I love these even more than the ones I had. The texture feels so durable, the zipper is satisfying, writing on the spot for date/time/oz is satisfying, they are slim still so I can fit more in the freezer. I actually enjoy bagging milk again. These are my personal favorite bags because of their shape and that you aren’t writing with sharpie/marker directly onto where the milk is. This makes me feel safe that no amount of sharpie will bleed into the bag (even if people argue it’s just a tiny amount i don’t care, there is a reason they use IV labels instead of writing directly onto the bags). They fit great in the freezer and do freeze flat when used correctly. I personally have had no issues with leaking and the seal zipper works as intended. Will be purchasing more.

I LOVE these storage bags!! I have purchased different brands and sizes, but these have been my favorite. I only have had 3 bags leak on me ever after thawing. They thaw very quickly (I recommend no more than 5 oz per bag for quicker thawing), and we’ve seemed to have no issues with freezer burn or taste alterations once frozen (based on that my child never refuses the once frozen milk). They fit great in “brick” form, the zipper is reliable, and they are easy to use and mark. They are recommended for single use, but the fact that 200 bags come per order is helpful so that you aren’t ordering more bags constantly!

I will continue to repurchase these! I used them for 2 pregnancies now and they hold up so well. We have had minimal leaks with the hundreds of bags that we have filled. They are easy to use and we haven't had an issues.

This was the first BM storage bag that I tried and I thought all brands must be the same.. Boy, was I wrong! I tries another brand (bcz I urgently needed next day delivery which Lansinoh didn't have then). That was my worst mistake! Anyway, I never faced any issue with Lansinoh bags.. they r very easy to use and have never leaked. The price is on the higher side but now I know why! There is a big difference in this brand and others! Going to order again

Is the best bang for the buck on the market for this class of products. Double zip seals well, bag stands upright when filled, and the volume marks are reasonably accurate. Freezer space-saving. Highly recommended.

I used these bags for the whole 12 months of bfeeding. Not once did they leak and I loved the double seal on the top so that I could release the air prior to sealing and save space in my freezer. I used a sharpie pen to write on the bag.
