Easy to apply and smells nice
We had a flea infestation even though we don't have pets or carpets. I was hesitant to use this on bare laminate flooring and hardwood but it worked perfectly. We treated about 600 square feet three times over a 2 week period whilst vacuuming every day and it definitely worked: no more fleas! Thankfully the spray is very easy to apply, dries quickly, leaves little residue and has an apple scent that is quite agreeable to the nose. However one of the active ingredients - Permethrin - is toxic to felines in large quantities so cat servants take note: this product needs to used with care around your kitties. We still have some left in case the fleas feel lucky and make a return. Great product, highly recommended.

Highly effective, but the awful smell..
I used Enforcer a few years ago when we had a terrible flea problem and nothing else was even making a dent in the problem. Took a few weeks of spraying to get them under control, but this stuff worked better than anything else we tried. Unfortunately, we had a few fleas this year that made their way indoors thanks to a mangy neighborhood cat mingling with our not as mangy pets. I ordered a few jugs of this expecting the same awesome effectiveness. Effective it is, but the smell... I wished they'd have kept it unscented. Now our home smells like not so fresh "fresh scent/apple abomination" and it's a nightmare on a few of us that have asthma. Thinking it is directly related to the scent now added, as it never bothered any of us before. I'd still recommend this product as an effective killer to those awful little bloodsuckers, but what the manufacturers were thinking adding fragrance to an unscented product... I don't know. Wish they'd change it back.

This product is outstanding.
So I am simply an Amazon customer. I have not been paid or reimbursed for this review in any way. This product is wonderful. I moved in to a beautiful Apartment 4 months ago where many pets including cats reside. My indoor cat is 4 years old and has never had a flea or tick of any kind. Hence he has never had to have any flea medication topical or oral. After 30 days of living in my apartment I began to noticed he was scratching and pulling at his hair. He's a male Manx cat and has never behaved like this before.Turns out fleas were the culprit. Unfortunately they became a part of our living environment. I am a person that is extremely clean and happened to love my cat greatly which means he sleeps with me. He's been sleeping at the foot of my bed for 4 years now. This is never been an issue until now. I do regret taking the holistic approach at first. The result is I spent money on products that did not work and gave the opportunity for the flea infestation to worsen. Now to the good part. Enforcer flea spray is outstanding. I paid $26 for a gallon. 1 gallon will do 1600 square feet. The smell is really Pleasant. The application could not be easier. Please read the instructions on how to put the sprayer and the hose to the sprayer inside the product. Do not remove the cap. There on the very top is a piece of the tape over a portion of the white cap that will snap off. It took me a moment to find it and it comes right off and then the hose to the sprayer fits down inside the cap. Fleas have a four stage life cycle. Their longevity in each of the four stage depends on the weather where you live, on humidity on heat on cold indoor or outdoor. I say this because to effectively treat any flea infestation you must treat the environment outside, the environment inside and the animal either cat or dog. If you do one or two of these and don't cover all of it then you're in for a long painful duration. This product kills three of the four life stages and has a growth or IRG regulator that will affect the stage not covered. To date in all of my research and experience I have not found one product that covers all four. That said you need to buy enough to treat two or three times. I would advice at least twice. The product gets rid of more than fleas and ticks. The list of insects it kills is on label, the website as well as probably here on Amazon. Next you do not need to spray very much of it. Simply use a sweeping motion back and forth. On the spray nozzle which works wonderfully there are two settings. With a twist of the nozzle you can do a stream setting if you're doing along tight spots. Otherwise you can use the spray side of the nozzle for carpet and furniture.Again I highly recommend doing the application at least twice and being diligent with your vacuuming and your washer and dryer which are your best weapons other than the spray. Forearmed is forewarned. I speak from experience. I have been so thankful for helpful reviews like I am writing now because that's how I learned what I needed to do. With this product enforcer I was able to spray my front patio and my back patio. If you have a yard then you'll want to address that. This product will do the perimeter outside of your dwelling and inside carpeted areas as well as your furniture anything upholstered in cloth. I don't believe it will do leather or naugahyde. It dries in an hour. I used a fan to help the process. Once it dries wait a couple of days to vacuum because it is a residual product. It will continue to work where it's been sprayed for several months. I can only imagine what it would be like if I had more then one cat or a dog added to the mix. Myself I purchased two gallons of the enforcer flea spray and I'm getting ready to apply the second time and it's been 14 days. It has been Sheer Heaven for these last 14 days. I need to note Dodge daily vacuuming and daily washing of bedding has been a lifesaver . Other than this spray your best friend are your vacuum your washer and your dryer . After extensive research on reputable sites on the internet I have found this to be true . I think it's safe to say after reading my review I would definitely recommend this product and I will buy it again. I hope this has been a help and the best of luck with your particular situation.

Worked somewhat, but we still have fleas.
Our indoor cat somehow got fleas (assuming they hitched a ride on someone's pant cuffs) and before we know it, our 900-square-foot house was exploding with them (including the ferret, which has never, ever had fleas at all, even after going outside). I bought this after reading the reviews and thought that the size of it would give us an advantage in such a small house (we'd have enough to re-treat as necessary). Well, I did see a reduction in the flea population, but a month later, even after coating the house in this three times total (plus spot treating on suspected problem areas, like cages and bedding), the animals are still itching and I am still finding them on my ferret (the cat is too black to see them, but you can tell when they're there because he bites at himself). So. We've had a steady stream of Advantage II on the animals, have used diatomaceous earth on the carpets and bedding, sprayed with this stuff several times, and we still have somewhat of a problem. I finally bought some Zoecon Precor 2000 plus and have sprayed the house with that now -- we will see in the next week if I have finally been able to knock them out. The bottom line is that I don't know if our problem was particularly bad (we are in GA and it was a long, warm summer) or if the product doesn't really work as well as advertised. It's telling that the Advantage also did not completely eradicate the fleas, either, so there's a chance we just have it really bad. I think it was effective, but didn't knock it all out as I had hoped.

Pleasant smell. Did the job
I had to spray a whole house with this product after a major flea infestation. We ended up needing to replace the carpets, so I sprayed the floor and then sprayed the new carpets. That seemed to take care of the problem. This product actually has a pleasant apple smell. I forgot to wear a facemask, but even after a couple of hours of spraying I did not have a headache (nor have I grown an extra head since then!)
