Very Well Thought-Out Kit
I paid $80.00 for this set in June of 2017.Very robust, and ideal for car camping. Can be used over a woodfire because it's stainless steel. The bottoms of the two pots are thick and provide a uniform heating function.Contains 4 sets of dishes/utensils.The handles on the big pot are rounded and will not scratch your hands. The lid is designed to sit on either pot. The smaller pot is essentially a frying pan, and has a folding-out handle.

What a great cookset. I had experimented with two other cook sets before discovering this one. I camp out of my vehicle and travel long distances. I watched the episode of Expedition Overland when the guys were explaining their gear choices. They talked abouy this one, so I bought it. It is perfect for the overland explorer who is travelling by vehicle. It is too have for backpack camping.

Great, but not perfect.
This is a great kit for car camping. Solid for 2 or 3 people. Supplement the kit with another skillet or cast iron pan as i have and it can make some solid meals. Plates: yeah they are small. bowls: also small. Sporks: useful in a pinch but just a fork would have been better. Skillet: perfect. Pot: great. Drying rack: really is a nice touch but kind of not necessary. All in all; replace the sporks with forks, toss the shock cord for some real cordage and a cinch buckle. And you've got yourself a nice bit of kit.

There is a lock for the handle...
I won't echo what everyone else has said about the set, other than the plates are incredibly small. But before you use this set understand that there is a little sliding piece on the fold-out handle of the pan that is crucially important. In fact, its importance isn't really made known through any labels or obvious markings from the manufacturer as the pan will easily support its own weight without the lock. But trust me when I say that once food is in that pan, if you don't use the lock, instead of enjoying a nice warm bacon and egg breakfast, you be spending the rest of your 32 degree morning cleaning raw eggs and molten bacon grease off your clothes and all of your gear, and possibly extinguishing the fire that started when the grease fell onto your camp stove. Thanks for the memorable experience Stanley.

Of all Outdoor Pan Sets This Is The most Durable & Rugged I have purchased. But Not Perfect.
The quality of this set is above any mid grade household pan set available for double the money. However it is stainless steal so items can stick without a little oil and an experience cook that uses stainless pans. My tri-ply stainless sets at home I have of a well know premium brand sticks too so I use some oil on the bottom before cooking.Only negative of this set is that they cold of made the kitchen plates larger as there is room. I realize this may cause difficulty in nesting in the large pot but would be worth the trouble. For an idea of how big it is, just think of the salad plate you use at home. The bowls on the other hand are in some cases larger then the ones at home.I got this on a Amazon prime day and got one heck of a deal as I also preordered elsewhere a GSI Pinnacle camp cookware set that I haven't received yet but I din't have to as this set would of also worked out just as good an alot more durable then the GSI but the GSI set has a non-stick coating which is a benefit and a curse because the non stick pan will not last but a few years where as this stanley set could last generations.Buy it as it is of high quality and is smaller in reality then the pictures and online videos shown as why I got the GSI instead but I didn't have to. As this unit will also fit for my purpose.

plates are saucers.
I love the frying pan, it is fashioned after copper bottom frying pans, thick which will evenly distribute the heat, the deep pan is equally as impressive, no copper bottom but very good for making stew. The plates are actually the size of a saucer, something that one would put a piece of pie on after eating a main meal. The plate covers the bowel, so if flies are around, that plate will keep any bugs out of your food. I use my frying pan as well as deep cooking pan around the house, because it takes up less space in my room. Being single, I have no need for an elaborate pan nor plate set to impress anyone, down to earth. As you can see in the photo, my stainless steel plate, the green plastic plate, way smaller than my stainless steel plate. Out camping, could get a major disappointment, because one plate will not even satisfy a hungry man, little on a boy!

High quality! There is a packing order diagram etched on the underside of the lid. Genius.

Excellent! We'll thought out, very durable. I've used many Stanley cooksets and this one is my new favorite by a long shot! Check out this set and many other Stanley sets on my YouTube channel (jiujitsu2000) Stanley playlist
