Very good bit of kit
I gave 3 stars earlier, but raised it to 5, the cable was included in the price, but they had run out of stock due to a hgh demand. it arrived a week later. The EcoFlow stream is very sturdy and high quality. Very easy to install and It worked straight away. Although you need to bind it to the battery system if you have one. There is a learning curve to using the app, however Google AI was useful at taking me through it. Using my home smart meter and the app, it was evvident that the system is very quick to react. Very impressed.

Missing Cables - And I’m not the only one
Great product. Missing Cables! Overall, it’s a great product. Now reduces my electricity bill by a small amount every day. However, it didn’t initially come with the solar cables that should have been included. I had to threaten with Trading Standards to get what I had already paid for. What was once an amazing company is going downhill fast in terms of customer service

Solid and hopefully reliable.
Feels very solid and seems to work as intended. The app makes setting up and monitoring the device easy and the WiFi is very good, able to pick up the main house WiFi despite being out on the garage! I have it booked up to a couple of 450w solar panels and it is performing well. Don't forget to get the mating mains cable as the connector provided is pretty unique. The App confirms the input from each panel so it has true mppt for both inputs.

5 days of ownership and observations
Only had this 5 days but want to say a few things to add some clarity for those thinking about buying it. This arrived very promptly in only a few days. The cable arrived first on its own via the postie. The unit arrived a couple of days later also via postie. The Mains cable comes with a connector one end to connect via a screw-together connection to the main unit . The other end is bare with the Live, neutral and earth wires in standard UK colours and labelled with printed stickers. The only connections on the micro inverter are the above mentioned for its mains connector and 2 sets of MC4 sockets to connect to solar panels. There is no direct and simple way to connect this to a delta type power station for saving any excess automatically. (we have one and a cable to connect with but it is impossible to do it that way with this version of the microinverter) To connect to your solar panels, you need them to have MC4 connections from them. They will need leads long enough to go from their location, to the place you affix the microinverter. The cable from the microinverter is not massively long. I think about 10ft and 1cm thick An external weather protected socket is the easiest access place for it but we arent electricians and thats all up to the buyer to arrange. It can handle upto 800watts of input current which is 400 for each pair of MC4s. The panels must give at least 20volts to be seen. The pairs feed into the 2 MPPT controllers which then turn the solar feed into something the unit can convert to AC for the grid. We have tried this with our camping panels (2 rated 24 volts, one is 200w and the other 180w and one rated 20 which is about 120w) It works and the MPPT controllers are efficient, you can see how they perform within the app. The app can be downloaded to your phone. We already had the app for our batteries so just searched for the microinverter which it found instantly. It upgraded its firmware first thing. You need to click on it ,it wont just do it So, it can feed the power into the house electrical circuit. You can see what is coming in on the app. It shows import and house usage, of that which it imports. It does not play with our ecoflow delta batteries as it has no manner of connection to them. Performance. Over the 5 days we have imported 5.85 KWH Of that imported wattage, 111 watts was lost to the grid, the rest was used by us. You cant tell from the microinverter what is lost to the grid, but we have a seperate smart meter monitor installed and can see through that. The camping panels have been plugged in from about 11am till 5pm as thats when we have no shade where we can put them and I moved them about to catch the sun every hour while we are experimenting with things still. It hasnt rained. Its been cloudy 2 days, sunny 3. Conclusion Works well Wont comply with stand alone delta 2 or better due to no connection capability. Hence the new battery inverter combination machines. Its affordable if you dont have the reddies for the all in one things. I think Ecoflow 'could' make their own smart socket plugs and have them cooperate with the app to allow plugging in of a battery for charging on auto whenever the wattage exceeds the houses current use and that would make the whole thing far more budget friendly.

Great, Comes with mains power connection lead only.
An excellent piece of equipment, well made and delivered quicker than I thought. It came in two separate boxes, which seemed strange. The inverter in one, and the mains connection cable in another. It did not come with any cables to connect solar panels, contrary to what some YouTube videos imply. So I purchased them separately. The app is nice but only works when solar is supplying it with power, as it drops network connection. Still very pleased with it though.

Excellent bit of kit
I've had solar panels for years but have been off grid using batteries but this bit of kit is absolutely amazing, it cuts out so much hassle and pumps everything into my house so most of my items run off it for free, I expect it to pay for it self very quickly at this rate, I can't recommend this enough

Works well.
Works pretty well. The app is a bit quirky but pretty intuitive overall. The inverter is solid and has a bit of weight to it. I would've given more stars but I didn't receive the mentioned MC4 connection cables.

Such a shame it overheats, otherwise very good
The design looks sleek and contemporary. And it works straight out of the box. The App that goes with it works really well and I will miss that as I've returned the unit due to overheating and it throttling back to 50% for several hours whilst it cools to a reasonable temperature. I can understand overheating in the tropics, but in an outbuilding in the UK at 20c you'd think it would work okay with a decent air gap around it. I've seen folk on the web rig up fans to cool them and thought 'yeah right', but actually they were simply overcoming this very issue. Since replaced it with a spare Growatt string inverter I had which has worked flawlessly in the same conditions. But then that has a much bigger heat sink which I think is the issue here. To keep the cost down I think they have compromised too far on the passive cooling aspect. Do I think its a good micro inverter and the answer is yes caveated with if you cool it or you are happy to loose generation on hotter than 20c days.
