I have previously purchased a neck fan and a book light as separate items and thought it would be really awesome if they could be combined into 1 product. I was a little skeptical when I first saw this because I figured 1 function would be better than the other. It was less than $20, which was cheaper than either one of my other purchases, so if it only functioned 1 way, that would still be ok. I was very pleasantly surprised!!! The fan is a bit loud, but it does have multiple speeds and cooled me off quite nicely (screw you, hot flashes!!!) and the lights actually illuminated my knitting very well. It's very lightweight and contoured nicely so I didn't get annoyed by the feel of it either. I am recommending this to all my fellow perimenopausal/menopausal/post-menopausal crafters that need a bit more focused light while trying to keep hot flashes at bay...this really fits the bill and the price is right!

I do no care what anybody says, this neck fan is AWESOME!!! I’m kinda like a neck fan connoisseur/collector because I work a lot of my day outdoors in the elements lol. I own MANY neck fans in many different shapes, colors, sizes, various levels of battery size/life, and amenities… with that being said, this is one of the best if not the very best neck fan I own. I have some traditional style neck fans that suffice but they don’t move air like this one does. I just recently purchased a second one of this model because that’s how much I like it. I really love the silicone pads installed on it because it helps me not sweat under the neck fan while it’s sitting on the back of my neck (which is always so annoying with my traditional neck fan models) and makes for a more stable and secure fit. It makes wearing it all day a lot more comfortable and it doesn’t slide around like most of them do. It’s also got 6 speed settings and I love that because most other neck fans come equipped with only 3-4 speed settings. It’s much lighter weight than my other neck fans too, which is so nice because it doesn’t cause me neck pain at the end of the workday. Now, yes, it is slightly noisy BUT what did you really expect? You’re not going to find a neck fan on the market that is silent especially when it’s worn around your neck under your ears… and it’s not really as loud as people make it out to be. Let me be clear when I say that THIS IS NOT AIR CONDITIONING!! This fan does NOT create and blow cold air for those who are wondering. It is just a FAN that moves air around and blows it towards you! THAT IS ALL IT DOES. The battery lasts me all day long on a full charge set on the 3rd or 4th speed setting which really impresses me because it’s a lot more efficient that my other fans… the other fans usually die around hour 4 or 5 (on a full charge) when on the highest setting. The neatest amenity on this fan is the lights on it. Very well thought out feature in my opinion. It comes in several different colors too! (I bought black and green!) Oh and it’s very easy to clean! All in all, I’m really so happy with my purchase of both neck fans. The price I paid for these fans is an absolute steal and cannot be beat at $9.99! I highly recommend to anyone who works or does things outdoors often/daily. It makes being outdoors a lot more bearable, especially in the summer time. These fans are great quality.

I bought this product for my mother for her birthday.She lives in Texas and it is very humid out there. This fan is kind of noisy but doesn't bother my mother. The wind is strong and blows great cool air. The charge is good last about 1 hr and a half. This is a great gift. I would recommend this to anyone.

It works pretty good but sometimes it just takes the warm air cooling it off only a little bit not helping as much as I would like. The noise level is pretty low but it depends on the fan speed. The fan has 6 different speeds. The battery life lasts a while and it charges pretty fast.

This fan is excellent! It is truly a life saver. It gets me through any situation that is a bit too hot for me. I wear it at work and all my coworkers had to look at it and try it out. They are planning on purchasing one. Honestly you can't lose giving this fan a try.

I love that this thing has 6 fan speeds. It seems well built but have not had it long enough to judge. Reading lights are a nice addition. Instructions not clear about batteries. I think they are not replaceable?? The instructions are hard to understand. Battery life?

Works okay but is bulkier than the more slim models that have holes around in different places. The positive thing are the lights at the end of it that you can use.
