It's big and its a bar of soap. You can clean yourself with it. You can clean others with it (with consent). Enough said. But if you want more information: It does not a strong smell like old spice or other heavily scented brands, but the scent is nice enough that my wife notices that fresh and clean smell post shower. That's the main goal though. I don't want to be driving to work feeling like I snorted a bunch of body wash. Some soaps feel like the perfume section in the mall but not Midnight Swim. It's a subtle smell, so subtle I don't know how to describe it. It is so big that residue can be a problem but to counter that I recommend getting Duke Cannons Soap Pouch or the Ballsy Soap Pouch. It fits perfectly in both and stops the residue build up in your soap hoadler. Also makes washing a breeze since the pouch is just a wash cloth with a rough and a smooth side. My skin never feels itchy after using it and it last a long, long, long time. The soap is more expensive than other brands, but given how much money I have saved by switching from body wash to bars of soap it makes the value worth it. And its just nice to delay that annoying bit where you have a bunch of small scraps of a soap bar and you try to was yourself with those. Also I know suds don't make you cleaner, but mentally I want to see them to feel like soap is actually on my body. These bars, at least in the soap pouch, sud up a lot and gives me piece of mind that I am filthy. I recommend it. I have tried a few other bricks, so far this is my favorite and seems like the favorite of many others. I guess the only downside is that it is so big that if you don't like the scent, you will be trapped for the next thirty years smelling like a midnight swim. Also may make you feel like a hobbit because its so big.
