UPDATED REVIEW!!! After contacting the seller they are choosing to rectify the situation by sending a new battery. So far I would say excellent customer service! I will have a final update after charging and using the new battery to see if it is up to par. Battery amp hr rating not accurate. Under performs for a battery this size. It discharges at a faster rate than a 12 amp hr battery from same manufacturer under identical conditions. I ran this test multiple times and always the same. The stated amp hour for this battery is incorrect or the battery is faulty. I will update this review after seller responds and addresses the battery performance issues.

Bought the battery as a replacement for dead Jetson Bolt Pro battery. Installation was relatively easy, but requires one modification - adapter provided for the main connection, but if you want to use the charging port already in place (instead of cutting a new hole, perhaps), then you need to make a connection between the old charging line and the new port - basically, I took the old battery connector and spliced it onto a plug to fit the new battery connector (adapter was not provided). Took only a few minutes extra, if you have experiencing splicing wires. Used piece of foam from shipping to help keep smaller battery fixed in place. TESTING: we conducted a very unscientific comparison against my second Jetson Bolt Pro bike - side by side, same configuration, but 2nd e-bike has original battery (3years old). Speed was comparable - e-bike with this new battery was actually a little slower than e-bike with old battery, but only by a small margin - could have been normal variance. Range was comparable - 8ah battery was at 3/4 after 7mile ride, other e-bike was basically the same. Will do a longer ride soon to see how it fully compares. CONCLUSION: Good replacement, much lower cost than oem would be. Long-term still yet to be determined.

Battery is wrong size advertised larger size. Will not return unless in perfect condition, hard to contact seller. This seller return policy is scam. Return label given unregistered address with uses. Stuck with battery and cost. Great paper weight.
