I’d call this a good intro into dremels, as someone who is just learning. I’m a caretaker for my mom and I needed something for her misshapen toenails. I’ve watched a lot of Meticulous Manicurist on Ytube to learn techniques and get an idea of what I would need to buy. I found this to be a good “cheap” option, thinking I’d buy a nicer one if it broke. Thankfully, this little machine has exceeded my expectations and I truly recommend it to others. I don’t know how it would compare to other brands as far as power or weight or longevity but I will say this- I’ve been using it for weeks on mom, myself, and my dogs! It’s held a charge for quite a few days but I do plug it in occasionally just so it doesn’t start dying mid-use. The little light on the tip is enough to be helpful, and the dust guard might be useful to others but I don’t bother with it. It’s comfortable in my hand, and I don’t have any complaints about how it works. Two thumbs up 👍👍
