Streaming Stick HD with Voice Remote

I've used Roku products for years and I continue to do so because 1) I am used to the interface and (most importantly) 2) the streaming products work well. I got this streaming stick for my no-name $69 guest bedroom TV. The TV had an available USB and HDMI port open which made for easy connection. The stick automatically recognized my no-name TV and configured the Roku remote so that power and volume functions work with it. When I signed in with my Roku account, all of my apps were automatically installed and even the logins were configured. This was the easiest setup of a Roku device I've ever encountered. The performance is what you expect from a Roku. The startup is not quite as snappy as my Roku Ultra box but once running, navigation is quick. At the dirt cheap price (even when not on sale), this is recommended.

The Roku streaming device is simple to set up, easy to navigate, and works great for streaming all my favorite shows and apps. The picture quality is excellent, and the interface is user-friendly. A great value for anyone looking to upgrade their TV!

I absolutely love Roku! We have all but one Roku TV, so we had bought this streaming stick, and so happy about it! It was very easy to set up and connect to the Wi-Fi and TV itself. Has lots of features, and works just like our Roku TVs now!! I also feel like this was the most value for our money!

Works great! Perfect! Really easy to use. Plug it right in the remote is awesome because you can just press the little microphone button and say adult swim or Netflix or whatever it is and it will go right to it. Not only that it was really easy to hook up to Alexa and I have the echo show 5 and I just say "hey Alexa?!" "can you turn on the TV please?!".... AND BA BAM!!!!

I am a huge fan of the Roku streaming devices and I love the simplicity of the remote and interface. Speed is great and general app responsiveness is fantastic. I haven't had any issues with battery life being uncommonly short by any means. I mainly use the Plex app and sometimes Netflix/Amazon/Tubi and they all work very well on this device. This particular one is being used on my Projector in my semi finished basement to watch my vast collection of movies/shows.

Got this for my mom as an affordable alternative to her HDTV antenna. Setup was relatively easy because I'm a former IT professional and I know how to configure routers and firewalls and things. Everything seemed to work okay, but my Alzheimer's mom couldn't figure out how to use it (no big surprise there). It's currently attached to her TV, unused. If there was one negative thing I would say about it, it is that the user interface is completely opaque to 88 year-olds with dementia.

I absolutely love this Roku Streaming Stick! It was quick and easy to set up, and the picture quality is great. The interface is simple to use, and I love having access to all my favorite streaming apps in one place. The voice remote is a nice bonus and makes finding shows so much easier. Definitely worth the purchase!

The improvements made on this thing (compared to the older Roku that could only be plugged into the wall) are wild. I got this to use on my partner's TV after we moved in together. He has an older samsung smart TV that's bigger than my Roku TV, so we put my TV in the guest room and his TV in the bedroom. Because his TV is over 10 years old, it can't really handle the apps anymore. He was using a Chromecast with it, but it was a couple years old and while he seemed satisfied with its performance, I was not. I was accustomed to Roku level efficiency. I have the older Roku on my big Plasma TV and I have my Roku TV I used in my old bedroom, and he didn't have much experience with Roku products so he didn't know how they compared. Chromecast was so slow and glitchy (imo), that I decided to get a Roku device to try on his Samsung TV, but was a little skeptical of the streaming stick. So I was super impressed once I hooked it up and saw just how much it upgraded our TV viewing experience. It basically does everything a Roku TV can do. It plugs into the HDMI port, but can plug into the USB port for power (if your television has one). We weren't sure it was getting enough power that way though, so we plugged it into a USB power outlet. The remote has voice recognition, which is nice, but sometimes it's slower than just typing things in. My favourite feature is the Bluetooth capability. Being able to hook up my earbuds or headphones to this old television is awesome. I thought I was unhappy with this 2012 smart TV and wanted a new one, but this Roku stick upgraded the TV in every way I was hoping for. It's faster, we have all the apps I wanted, it has leveling and Bluetooth capabilities, and the remote is responsive. Super happy with this product and I'll probably get another one to upgrade the old Roku device on my Plasma TV.

Bought it to cast from an Android tablet which it does well however I discovered it does poor multitasking. I started one tv app, then thought to try another and by the time I tried the fourth I noticed performance issues akin to buffering. When I restarted the Roku one app (tv channel) played fine. Perhaps I could have made changes in the settings, not sure as I put it into a drawer and decided to use a far more expensive chromcast device on my non smart tv. I would have returned the Roku if someone hadn’t thrashed the box.

Best Streaming Device. Limited Apps for Indian users but YouTube, Prime Video and Netflix working fine.

La verdad, por el precio pensé que iba a estar medio chafa, pero me sorprendió para bien. Está súper fácil de instalar, usar y programar. Lo único que me pasó fue que, al cambiarlo de televisor, se desconfiguró el emparejamiento con el control. Lo resolví rápido con ayuda de ChatGPT y, de paso, descubrí que también puedes usar la app de Roku en el celular como control remoto, así que hasta estuvo bien. Lo que más me gustó es que ya no tengo que pagar la renta de la mentada “cajita” que te cobran las compañías de internet. Con esto tienes acceso directo a todas las apps y funciona de maravilla. La verdad, superó por mucho mis expectativas. 100/100 y terminé comprando otro. Lo único que diría que tiene chistoso es que el control tiene comando de voz y cuando le hablas como que lo que escucha no es en sí el control, sino la tele. Pero se arregla hablándole fuerte jaja
