All Butter Scottish Shortbread | All Butter

I was on the hunt for a buttery shortbread that I had in Europe. I tried Walkers; they are good, but drier than I was looking for, so my hunt took me through every brand I could find. After many duds and really bad ones. I found these. They have a tender, buttery mouthfeel. They are pretty thick but have a light and delicate quality. I have bought these cookies several times and they are now on repeat! Every times they have arrived fresh, and looking very nice. I don't recall any broken cookies. My current box doesn't have any broken shortbread. Don't tell my family but they may get some for gifts this year. 🤫

These are my all-time favorite shortbread cookies, and I've tried several brands from the US and across the pond. I don't like Walker's brand because the product you can buy in the US has a strong preservative flavor. The butter flavor rings out in Duncan's. They are as close to authentic as I've found in the US.

Great shortbread cookies but they cost too much for the amount you receive! Somebody at this company thinks we are rich and can afford this over priced luxury. A once in a while choice.

If you're a fan of shortbread biscuits (cookies), you WILL love these. They're uniformly excellent--that never varies. The only difference I've found, from order-to-order, has been the quality of the packaging. These cookies are somewhat delicate (susceptible to crumbling). As such, when the cookies are properly packed and they arrive intact, it's the prelude to a wonderful experience. On the other hand, when a vendor simply tosses the package into an Amazon mailer and sends them on their way, you get ... cookie dust. As the rating indicates, this was NOT an optimal transaction.

Shortbread is outstanding. Flavorful and buttery. Packaging for shipping needs improvement. Product is too fragile for mailing in a paper sack.

The crumbs tasted good, but that’s all you had once they arrived. They were shipped in a paper bag rather than a box and by the time they arrived to me, they were so beat up that all I had was crumbs.

Wow... Best shortbread cookies we've ever had. They are expensive at more than a buck each, but man oh man are they delicious! Perfect for a coffee or tea time snack when you want to lift your spirits and absolutely essential for impressing the guy or gal on whom you've fixed your attention, especially if the lady or gentleman in question is your wonderful spouse. ;-) Seriously great cookies. Two thumbs up! :-)
