This is a favorite shampoo with a delicious perfect peppermint scent and it makes my hair so silky soft! I ordered three bottles and they arrived tightly wrapped and packed really well. No spills or issues. Fast shipping too.

I have used this product and the conditioner for 2 years now. I found this in my search for natural, organic shampoo and conditioner. According to my hair consultant, my hair is better than it has ever been. It feels great on the scalp and the longer you keep it on, the better it feels. I need conditioner to keep it easier to comb and more manageable, because I am letting it grow.

Hi- I have been using this Avalon Shampoo as a face, head, and bodywash for whenever I travel to hotels (40x+ yr.) for the past three years....it is generally far better than what is there and it "wakes-me-up" with modest mintiness. At home, I often use a few drops to wash my face. Despite, it's label as a "Shampoo", it is mild enough for my face. The only other brands that have this peppermint in good quantity are the Dr. Bronner's which is very strong, a Walgreens brand (Rosemary/Mint large) which is cheaper and good, and the over-priced expensive designer brand, which will go nameless. I like the container because it fits into my tumi toiletry bag pocket, does not leak, and is not too insanely over-priced. I use the Walgreens more at home to cut costs. I use the Dr. Bronner's to REALLY wake-up...it burns if left on for more than 15secs or so undiluted....great for deodorizing those annoying underarms. BTW they also sell this at Whole Foods Markets along with the other type.....I also like the lemon or orange extracts. The have it labeled in different bottles as bodywash, shampoo, handwash, etc...but I think they all the same and get whatever is cheapest. SInce Whole Foods is quite a trip from my house, this Amazon 3-pack deal is great with the shipping (save on gas). Oh, Trader Joes also used too or does carry some Avalon products but now I am not sure. Hope this Helps! -Paul

We like the shampoo and have used it for a long time now. However, the packaging and shipping are leaving much to be desired this time. The three bottles are normally shrink-wrapped together, this time two bottles were loose in the box. The one bottle still holding on to the plastic shrink wrap did so because the lid was not screwed on all the way, causing it to leak shampoo out all over everything else which was packed along with the bottles! It doesn't seem like we lost much shampoo. And we can rinse off all the other products since nothing is prone to water damage. But it is annoying that things are shipped so poorly.

This is the best shampoo if you love peppermint! It smells amazing and even gives the tingles on your scalp. The box came with the bottles open and leaking. Customer service gave me a refund.

Years ago, I found the Avalon Organics Strengthening Peppermint Shampoo to try in summer months. I love how cooling the peppermint can be on my scalp in warm muggy weather. As it can be drying, and my skin does not tolerate conditioners, I only used maybe once a week. I showered and shampooed daily, sometime twice daily, in the heat. Fast foward to menopause with thinning skin, I only need to bathe twice a week. My traditional soaps are too harsh now, and I have found that this makes the perfect bath wash for intimate areas and my face! Although pricey, Amazon has excellent value in 3-pack, and a little bit goes a long way.

I ordered three bottles of this shampoo because I dislike running out of it. Peppermint gives my curly hair protection from breakage, and this product delivers! After two weeks of using it, I switch to an aloe shampoo and then back to the peppermint. Switching between the two is better than using the same type of shampoo consistently. Of all the peppermint shampoos I've tried, this is the absolute best one! It's also cheaper to order online, and smells great. Gives my whole body a boost when I shampoo in the shower.

I'm always happy with Avalon Organix products. Because this shampoo doesn't foam up, I know it isn't full of chemicals that aren't great for my hair. Still, I know my hair is clean and holds its curl.
