Was fed up with looking at washing all over the house and having to put the heating on to dry the washing on the radiators which looks awful, makes the boiler work harder and is expensive. Have been looking at a heated airer for a while but held back as not convined of running costs. Saw this on Amazon and it had been reduced in price and a make that I recognised so bought it. Set up was easy and was quite stable. There is loads of drying space with three large drying racks. Did a wash, switched it on. Just one switch, one heat setting which means there is nothing to mess around with. Left it for a couple of hours, walked in the bedroom and could feel the heat in the bedroom from the airer and the clothes were definitely drying. Checking the smart meter on the hour I'm estimating a cost of about 8p and hour but that's a rough estimate but still efficient against using a tumble dryer or central heating. Once cooled it was easy to fold and pack away. Bought the cover for it today which I'm sure will increase it's performance. Ace bit of kit.

My best buy ever. Drys my clothes overnight. I bought the cover as it dries clothes better with it on. Wish i had bought one before.

A really good product which dries stuff overnight at very little cost, but load it carefully for best results.

Excellent answer to drying laundry. I read a lot of reviews, after my cousin recommended this as an alternative to running the tumble drier every few days. This is a good, but basic model - there's an on/off switch but no timer or auto=off as on some other heated air dryers. I picked this one because (cousin again) it's a trusted brand, and for my small household being able to use it half folded is a bonus. Was slightly misled by the pictures showing it fitted understairs - well, my stairs aren't that high & it's taller than I expected, but it does fold very flat to slide beside a cupboard. I'm lucky in that I have a covered area where I can hang laundry, so after a day of air-drying I can transfer to the DrySoon and it finishes off in a few hours, depending on the material. It's not going to cope with sopping wet material - you need to spin dry, or in the case of delicates do the towel roll thing. Cottons and wools take longer than my uniform synthetics, and you do need to keep an eye on it and turn clothes occasionally to make sure they dry evenly. Overall very happy, and a major improvement on hanging stuff on the radiators! Oh, by the way, I don't think the official cover is necessary, I just chucked an old double sheet over the top and that increased the drying performance very nicely.

Like all things now this has clearly been made to a budget which means the components will just about do what is required, but that’s pretty much everything you buy so I can’t mark it down for that, just know you will need to treat it carefully to avoid any small plastic pieces snapping off which could easily happen. It’s certainly not a climbing frame for a 2-year old! That aside the design is very clever and works well. The additional cover is essential to hold in the heat and I think should have been included with the package, from reading other reviews it seems that it doesn’t dry half as well without it. Now it’s winter when outside drying is impossible this allows a whole load of clothes to be dried in one place, you set it up and forget it, If you used it during the day you could make use of the residual heat to warm the room in your house which makes the energy usage a little more efficient if you don’t put your heating on just bear mind that it would only take the edge off in one room and over a few hours so it’s not going to be the same but it is noticeable after a while. All in all a decent product that fulfils its promise currently after two months use, let’s see if it lasts.

Received today. The dryer does not come on so suspecting something wrong with the fuse. Not impressed with clips as they don't seem strong enough for heavy towels or other clothes Will trybm it out for a few days

Just received and tested my airer. I live alone and this size is perfect for me. Love the fact that it can easily fold to use one side when needed. Takes up very little space both when in use and when stored. Definitely will use it with the cover. I did read that it actually makes the room feel a little warmer when in use. Who would complain about that in the winter!
