My cats love this...two of them would be better...but if only 1 to 2 cats this is perfect. Easy to put together, only 1 person needed, even though 2 makes it go faster. but all in all, great cat enclosure, great size and pretty sturdy as well.

The cat enclosure is absolutely perfect. It was very easy to assemble and all of the pieces fit as per the instructions. For extra durability, I installed 2x2 inch firing strips around the inside of the base with corner gussets. This made the unit very strong. My feral cat/kitten colony enjoys playing and sleeping in it.

I think I would give 4.5 if I could. It's very lightweight, not terribly flimsy but not as sturdy as something you could make yourself. Arrived much earlier than estimated. Very well organized and pretty clear to read if you are of the furniture assembly brain. Some walls are "cut out" of the drawings in a weird way in a few photos, and a few items not redrawn at the proper angle. I'm 5'4" and the door is about as tall as I am. I think I misread the size, as it is about half as wide as I expected (I think I read the "doubled up" size). I may buy a second to combine next year, if it lasts the winter winds. (Will update if not.) I did spray waterproofing on the pieces before assembling and I recommend that for humid climates. It's made of fir. Definitely bring a friend. You can technically do it by yourself but I think it would take all day. Drill/driver for the screws will be way faster. They do not give you any tools.

It is great. My car is getting used to it. She has up until recently been able to roam the yard for a morning walk, then she is normally in for the rest of the day and night. But last week we encountered a Bob cat in my yard so now she can be outside but safely in her cat home. All the pieces were marked very well. The instructions we very clear. It did take my daughter and I quite alittle time to put it together but we enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment when it was done and my cat is safe in her own yard

It takes several hours to put together other than that no problems

Originally I marked this as a 1 star review. I’m updating to a 3 because communication from the seller was great. The product is still awful though. Let me start by saying this is not something that would be a good idea for your cats if you care about them. It’s not stable at all. It seems I may have gotten a used catio. There were a number of places that had pieces of woods missing, paint peeling off and obvious signs of holes drilled into it already. By the time I took it all out of the two boxes and laid everything out it was to late, there was no way I was going to get that jigsaw of pieces back in those boxes. When I say jigsaw I mean exactly that. The thin wood was stamped with numbers but impossible to read. I may have put it together backwards who knows. I decided there was no way I was going to let my cats hang out in this flimsy cheap wood cage. Maybe chickens would enjoy it, I don’t know, I don’t have chickens. I decided it will now be a cover for my generator for when it rains and snows.. The wood hang out spots are now a roof. And the tarp cover is over them. To be truthful the only sturdy thing is the tarp for the roof. My generator now has a 300+ cage.

Was a little leery after reading some of the reviews, but after my cat was in 2 fights outdoors with other cats and I ended up with a $1,000 vet bill, I realized I needed an option for my cat to go outside but not roam freely. I am usually NOT good at all at assembling things, but I found the catio pretty straightforward with good instructions. It took me a couple of afternoons to finish. Some reviewers complained about the quality, but I think for the price it is very much a good product. My cat is still getting used to it, but I think it’s going to be great.

We have 7 cats in there, plenty of room for the water bowl and litter box. I did have to block the bottom with blocks and they dont try to dig out. I really love it.
