Are these univeral, it came with a 4 wire hard drive connection and a 4 wire CD connection but my comp is 5 wire on both ?

These are universal standard non modular standard ATX power supplies. They come with a 24 pin motherboard power connector, 4+4 CPU power, several 4 pin Molex connectors, and several ATA (hard drive) power connectors. For a 5 pin connector you may need a Molex adapter.

It does have a warranty, and is covered by Amazon returns. However, I would suggest going with a different brand. Logisys makes great power supplies, and they are in the same price range as APEVIA.
