Can't beat the price. Easy to assemble and up working with no issues. Picture quality is excellent. Channel scan picked up channels that my big screen tv's don't receive in my area. Will definitely be used to watch some of my favorites summer shows out on my deck. A+++ purchase.

Purchased this TV so we could sit on our deck or gazebo and watch some TV outdoors on these nice summer nights. Wanted a rechargeable unit so there wouldn’t be electrical cords all over the place and to be able to easily bring the TV indoors to avoid inclement weather. This TV fits the bill for us. Takes about 4 hours to fully charge initially. Picture quality is excellent. I did use some of the “user” settings to adjust picture to my liking, though there are many choices of settings to choose from as well. I am also using a streaming stick and using the TV’s USB port to power that rather than utilize the electric option. Tyler TV’s don’t seem to be listed on most streaming stick setup options so you really cannot use one remote for TV and stick. I will say that once you do the initial setup, the TV remote is not mandatory as all the control buttons are mounted right on the front of the TV and clearly labeled. You have about a 100 degree viewing area before the quality of screen viewing begins to decline. Not a big deal at all. Others have mentioned that their unit arrived with an inoperative HDMI port. Mine worked but it is very sensitive. If you have a sloppy fitting HDMI device, you are likely to have an issue with this input. The manufacturer should really fix this issue. The antennas supplied are adequate but not great. There are 53 stations available to my area but these antennas only pull in about 16 of them. Sound is adequate but don’t expect rich bass. The FM radio sounds more like an AM radio because of the built-in speakers. Battery life is fair. I see reviewers reporting 3-4 hours of battery life and that’s great. Running on battery and also powering my streaming stick off the TV’s USB port, I get a consistent one and a half hours of usage. I will update if this changes. I do like the fact that the TV shuts down when there is about 5% battery life remaining. Lithium Ion batteries don’t give you long usage if they are constantly run down to 0%. Though there is no reference to this in the instruction manual, I would charge the TV with the master power switch in the off position. You see, the TV has 2 power switches. One powers the TV on and off and is located on the remote and the front of the TV. That switch shuts off the TV but keeps it in standby mode, keeping a very small drain on the battery. The other power switch is located on the side of the TV and is a master power switch. This switch completely shuts down the TV and there is no further drain on the battery. The TV charges more quickly if the master switch is off. In general, I am pleased with the purchase but will probably be using the electrical connection more than I had hoped.

I bought this tv discounted from the overstock/damaged and the note said screen scratches. I've ordered like this before and never had a problem. But, I wanted a small, portable, inexpensive tv, so! I gave it a shot, even after I read the reviews. When it came, it had minor scratches on the frame, not the screen. That was a plus. Then, I set it up. Instructions weren't very clear, but I got it done and put it aside for 2 hours, as recommended, to charge. After 2 hours, I tried to hook up the enclosed antennas (there were 3), but I wasn't happy with them because they n kept falling over, so I ordered weighted base antenna which was better. Then I tried the remote. It didn't work, so I opened it to see if there were batteries, and there were. Ok. Dead batteries, maybe, so I ordered new ones. I installed the lines ones, but it still didn't work. When I tried to take the new ones out, they jammed and it took forever to get them out.So, I used the hand controls to set it up. The instructions were vague. Eventually, I got it working, but I only got a few channels. I live in a large urban city so there should be lots of channels, so I did the scan again & got 56 channels. Yeaa! Then the problems started. It dropped stations, it language switched randomly from English to Spanish and randomly turned off. I couldn't eventually get it to even turn on.. Sad. But, when it did work, the picture, sound & color was good, and Amazon delivered the next day.l

Nice little tv for the back of the boat but I use a external speaker for sound due to internal speaker sound tin canish. I use av cable with Anker speaker.
