I have a 2014 ford f150 that says it takes 3157nak lcp bulbs in the front park / turn lamps..can't find that exact pn# , will these work ?

-3157 is the bulb #.-NA stands for Natural Amber.-K stands for Krypton Gas which is used to make the bulb a LL(Long Life) bulb.-LCP standard for "Liquid Crystal Polymer" - The "LCP" product is made using a special high heat resistant base making it a good solution for small lamp reflectors that may generate high temperatures. The plastic base on the regular 3157 can withstand temperatures of up to 120 C. The "LCP" base can withstand temperatures of up to 230C.Everything this bulb offers is what you need except I am not 100% sure yet if this bulb is manufactured with the LCP base.  If Ford specifies a LCP base you "need" to make sure you get the LCP base.  Cars around 10 years ago started having issues where the lenses, wiring, etc... were melting because the bulbs were getting hot and this was all due to the base initially melting from high temperatures.  Sylvania helped fix this by coming out with the LCP base.I currently have a message into my Sylvania rep to find out if these bulbs use the LCP base.  Years ago the base had to be a gray colored base to qualify but I believe they started making them in black now as well so I wanted to double check with Sylvania before giving you an exact answer if this will work for your vehicle or not. So I have tried to find online what bulb my 2010 Mercury Mariner takes, but have had no luck.  Does anyone know a source to check?

The best place to check is NAPA or another auto parts store the prices are the same except there's no shipping.  They have the part you need in stock too right in the aisle.  I had to go there after buying this and finding out it's the blinker not side marker light.

I think it's the color of the shell.  Supposed to be better for the clarity of the blinker.
