For $80+ i wouldn’t purchase it strictly for fun or ripping yourself it just cost to much. But when your cat doesn’t stop bugging you to chase stuff and you love rc cars it was a logical decision to shell out the $$$. My cat absolutely loves it!! The size is perfect not to scare or be too loud. I got the monster truck because i have carpet and it is the most fun I’ve had playing with a cat. Justifying the purchase for my cat was actually to relieve me from the terror haha

I didn't know how to commeny / message another buyer ... hopefully this will help "Al". There is a "throttle fine adjustment" on the controller (also shown on "page 6" of the manual). This can be set at 20, 50 & 100. See if you have it set on 20 & try to set it higher for more speed. (I have my truck set on 50 & I don't accellerate fully-it gets too fast for me. I'm unsure if the cars are the same.) Anyone else buying these-definitely check out the manual (there are lots of "adjusters" on the controller ... I'm new to RC cars so nit sure of the official names or functions of all of these. I have used another adjuster to fine tune the steering - if the RC truck seems to pull to the right, you can adjust for that too.) Awesome little RC truck!!

I have used these and given them as gifts and the children love them. Children under, say 10 or so tend to be rough on them and they are not meant for heavy handed use but the teens love them.

I was disappointed when finding out that it didn’t have the two unpainted bodies. That is the reason for 3 stars. No way to order just the unpainted bodies.

This little truck is really small. It's crazy how it's so small and fully functional. Fwd rev left right and in-between. Not fast but fast for such a small motor. Great fun playing with my kitties .
