Old school now new school?
This sells AMAZING! As a Frag head this was a blind buy. Having the original it’s nostalgic but I don’t find myself wearing it often although there was a period I wore the original daily, it does however smell dated. This to me is a modern interpretation of the original fragrance but with a blue aquatic sweeter spicier modern twist. If you’re wanting an original version just slightly more updated, this isn’t it. If you do want something completely sophisticated, modern, blue freshy smell, but has a slight resemblance to the original DNA, this is it! It’s still has the fresh clean smell but that’s about it and goes way off into the blue side that’s also spicier and sweeter to my nose but to me smells better than all the other blue fragrances I have like the Bleu, Sauvage, Dylan Blue, etc. Personally I love this more than the original too (like I said I have the original but more for nostalgia). This would work for all ages but I think it’s geared to someone 30s or 40s and up as it does have that soapy more mature smell. It smells masculine, confident too. Works great as a daily wear scent to the office dressed up or casual wear out and about. I think it could wear at night scent but to me it’s more reserved so stronger colognes will over power it as it projection to me seems decent by like arms reach. But if you’re confident and don’t need that kind of attention and prefer more subtle, I think this a good fit. I’ll report back on longevity but so far seems okay. Not great but decent.

A Fresh, Aquatic Take on a Classic Fougère…
When I was a teenager (the early to mid ’90’s), I went through a preppy phase where I was interested in designer clothes and colognes. Of course, I couldn’t afford any of those things, but, over the years, some of the sales associates at the local Macy’s took pity on me lurking around the cologne counter and were kind enough to give me some samples. Two of the most common I received were Cool Water and Drakkar Noir. I loved both and still do today. Fast forward thirty years later: Possibly going through a midlife crisis, I woke up one day with the idea that I needed to add a few fragrances back into my routine. A quick search for “best affordable colognes” brought me here. I picked up a 3.4 oz bottle of Bleu for under $30 as a Black Friday deal, and brother, what a deal it was… I won’t bore you with too much detail, but if you like the two colognes I mentioned above, or blue fragrances in general, I’d recommend giving this a try. If Drakkar Noir and Cool Water had a baby, Drakkar Bleu is what you would get. With the first spray, icy mint and green apple give this a fresh feel, with just enough sage and bergamot to keep it grounded. Then, as it dries down, lavender and patchouli kick in to add some maturity and remind you that you’re at a Drakkar fougère family event. Subtle, never overwhelming, and very well balanced, three sprays below the neck lasts the entire work day. Lots of compliments received, too. I’ll just add that I enjoyed this fragrance so much, it inspired me to build up a small collection of colognes - including Drakkar Intense, another newer, updated, and very affordable, take on the Drakkar legacy. Drakkar Bleu is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a unique, affordable, blue addition to their fragrance collection.

Good scent for around town, don’t expect a lot of reactions from others.
This is a good scent with clean aquatic freshness. For EDP it has a good lasting scent time. For the price paid it’s a good value sent. I think it’s best as a daily wear if you’re not really trying to impress anyone. But if you’re looking for something on a warm day when you’re going to the park or maybe window shopping it’s a nice scent. Definitely not one. I would recommend for date night or trying to impress your special someone. But if you’re looking for a clean fresh scent, this one’s not bad. Also, I think the description from the vendor was good and to the point. .

30 min projection, Scent doesn't last
Drakkar Bleu ( EDP. ) It a scent that at first, you like and dislike all at once. You waiver back n fourth do I like it or not ?! I wore to work and I had a couple of people tell me they did not care for it. But I did have a couple of females tell me they absolutely loved it. I ( myself ), I actually like the scent, it's manly, and mysterious. But... My biggest problem with it is it does not project very strongly from the body, you have to spray a lot, and ppl have to be very close to smell it. And it does not last long !!! I've worn it at home all day and at work all day the next day. And again at work another day. I have to reapply the cologne like every 2 hours. Or it's just a skin sent. I would say 30 mins too 1 hour of actual projection from the body out to someone ... ( tops. ) Then it is just a slight body scent. You have to be very close to even smell it. And I put four to six sprays on at a time. And after 3 too 4 hours I could barely smell it on my own body, sticking my nose straight to my skin. This is supposed to be an ( EDP ) , I have longer lasting EDT sprays.

Great fresh scent
Great strong scent. It's a very fresh and fruity scent that leans masculine. It feels good for formal or professional wear but also could work perfectly fine for daily since it's fruit heavy. Couple sprays lasts me like 4 to 6 hours.

Very fresh
This is a very good fragrance for the price. It reminds a lot of YSL Y edt. But more fresher and more minty. I really like it. I wish it was a bit more unique but that's ok. You may get around 4-6 hours of longevity depending on how much you spray. It may be a good everyday fragrance but I will save most of it for warmer days.
