Success
Iโve successfully grown a few plants. The germination took longer than I excepted(I used a heat mat). The seedlings were transplanted almost 2 months ago. I was not sure they were going to make it, but in the last 2 weeks they really took off. I just snipped a few weeks and will dehydrate them to use in a night time relaxation tea?

Never Sprouted for me
I feel bad giving one star but these never germinated for me I never got any Sprouts at all. As for the variety it was only one variety and I would say not a good value for your money if they don't germinate for you. I'm sure the quality would have been good however I never got to see it.

Actually works!
It helps with my fibromyalgia and peripheral nondiabetic neuropathy pain. There are a lot of alternative medicines I have tried that do nothing but this actually helps. I use it in combination with my prescription meds. I need to take 2-4 mL for it to work.

Seeds require cold stratification
The packet does a good job of explaining that they need to be sown right on the surface where they will get light, and that they should not be allowed to dry out, but it also says, "Germination in about 21-28 days." I gave it three stars because all the horticulture guides say verbena hastata needs at least 30 days of cold to break dormancy. If they did this before shipping then fine, but if not they need to be sown outside in the fall to let winter do the work (best), or go through cold stratification in the refrigerator. I'm going to try the winter approach. and hope the chipmunks don't find them. If I don't see plants next summer I'll downgrade my rating to a one.
