I am very much a beginner in the world of martial arts and started hitting my friends heavy bag in a communal garage. I loved the exercise and the stress relief so I invested in my own heavy bag. I was using garden gloves to hit the bag and at first I was even using bare hands. I skinned my knuckles pretty good with bare hands so I had to take about a month off before I could hit again. Even though the wound was healed and I was using garden gloves it still hurt on the spot I skinned my knuckle. I was looking for a glove that provided just a bit of padding that would protect my knuckles from being skinned and the impact of the punch. I got these FitsT4 just tonight and I just used them for the first time. They are perfect. I can hit the bag full force with no problem. What I like is that they are not cumbersome like boxing gloves. I suppose this is just personal preference. They are great looking, fit well, and are really fun to use. My palm measured just around 3.75" which put me smack in between a L and XL (5'9" male 160 lbs). After looking through the reviews people said to size up and so I went with the XL. They fit well enough to where I wouldn't consider returning them for a large. With that said I would imagine that the large would have fit also and maybe a bit better in the long run as I'd "stretch" into the large with prolonged usage. Overall I'm super happy. These are perfect for hitting the heavy bag. Last note - there is a cylindrical roll in the palm of the mitt in order to promote squeeze strength while making a fist. For hitting the heavy bag I like this feature. For MMA or grappling I'm not sure how good that feature would be.

The pictures I have attached are after about 1 month of consistent usage. For the price they are really good. They are comfortable enough and don’t leave any pain after using them. The over all durability is pretty good with only a little bit of scuffing around the knuckles, but when punching things that’s to be expected. The only problem I have is the stitching on the Velcro and around the palm is coming undone.

These gloves fit perfectly, the velcro is strong so you know they won't be moving around when you train. The large fit comfortable and protect the hands when training whether hitting pads or sparring. They are easy to wash.

The glove is comfortable enough, if used for extended period of time it may chafe the skin and possibly cause a little bleeding as it did with me. Durability is fine, but I also didn't use it for long as the padding was nowhere near sufficient as time went on. There isn't enough padding for hitting the heavy bag with power punches, but it'll probably be enough when you're starting to build up power. I liked them starting out especially cause they're cheap, but you'll soon outgrow them and actually start hurting your knuckles.

they fit quite nicely on a med/lrg hand. good padding, nice foam "rod" in the fist for stability. the outer material feels a bit cheap but so far is holding up well. Should last some years of casual training
