It's great
It's great. You can set it for night time only. Has a really good motion sensing range. Can adjust how far it shoots the water, duration per incident, and motion sensitivity. Works great, keeping deer off my lawn.

Effective And Affordable
I've purchased 3 of these and placed them strategically in my yard to deter deer and other animals. The field and range of view for the motion detection is adequate for my application. It can sense motion further away than I can shoot water so that's good enough. The water is adjustable for both side to side arc as well as a limited amount of adjustability for range. These units offer the ability to daisy-chain either pre or post motion activated valve giving you more options for how your set-up will work. For mine they are chained pre as each unit fires independently. They offer nice adjustability for duration of spray as well. I've found letting them do a couple of passes to be effective. While you can't see the spray from the unit in the attached video you can see the effect. We were having this deer destroying our gardens. This was the last video I got of the deer actually in our yard since we've installed the Yard Enforcer. Since then the deer has kept to the other side of the fence. As for the sensitivity from my experience with it so far, a skunk appears to be too small (perhaps I need to aim it better) but a raccoon has been seen to set it off in it's current configuration. Follow Up 2019-09-12: These are still working admirably since I've gotten them and they're still going on their original batteries. I am still using them to control deer at the perimeter of my property. I'm rating the overall efficacy of deterring the deer from coming on my property at about 85% based on what my trail cams are showing me. There are some observations I have though: 1. You must move them around regularly to "surprise" the deer. They will become accustomed to them fairly quickly, so take the time to be inventive with their location. I have trail-cam footage of a deer essentially figuring out the "rope-limit" (for those of you old enough to remember Foghorn Leghorn) of the sprinklers and keeping just outside of it. 2. I'm running all 3 of my sprinklers in series on one hose on a municipal water supply with good pressure. If more than one of them is spraying simultaneously the pressure is inadequate for the heads to move back and forth properly. If you are planning on having more than one run simultaneously in this fashion, you will likely need a pressure booster of some sort. Possibly a 3/4" supply line instead of the standard 1/2" would be enough, but my setup is 1/2".

Absolutely fantastic
We have been having problems for years with cats using our garden as their personal toilet. We had at least five different cats use our garden and we had tried everything from pepper to cat sprays we even got three metal cat figures with marble eyes which are meant to scare cats away nothing seemed to work. We have three small children so we do need to be careful what we use and we did not want anything to hurt the cats, but we had enough, one morning my husband cleaned 30 cats poo off our lawn that was one days worth and the final straw. I saw this product and at first I was concerned as its quite alot of money to spend but we were at the end of our tether with the cats that had taken over our garden, we want somewhere where our children can play without the worry of them stepping into cats poo. The orbital yard enforcer is absolutely fabulous I cannot recommend this enough. My husband put it together without any problems and he used the connectors provided which were fine we live in the UK and this product is produced in the US but we did not have any issues connecting it to our hose so I am unsure why some people have had problems we did not have any. It is motion sensed so as soon as a cat steps into our garden it is triggered off and sprays, I love it we have our garden back, just after one day it is completely poo free and cat free and the kids think its amazing running though the sprinkler in the summer I just need to remember to switch it off when I want to put my washing out. So if you are worried about spending out so much money I would definitely say it is worth every penny it I a solid and sturdy sprayer. I am more then pleased with is.
