His resume reads like a rock fan's wildest dream: frontman and main songwriter for FREE (founded with the late guitarist Paul Kossoff), BAD COMPANY, THE FIRM, SOLO & QUEEN. Paul Rodgers has been electrifying audiences since he hit #1 with his worldwide hit "All Right Now" co-written with Free. After six years with FREE, Rodgers formed BAD COMPANY with Mott the Hoople guitarist Mick Ralphs. As the main songwriters they wrote all of the platinum records and #1 hits. While moving forward as a solo artist he took a slight detour and formed THE FIRM with LED ZEPPELIN guitarist Jimmy Page. He then continued as a solo artist and received a Grammy Nomination for his "Muddy Water Blues" CD on which he wrote the title track. In 2005 he joined forces with QUEEN and toured worldwide at QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS performing songs from both of their catalogues. He is currently proceeding on two fronts with QUEEN and as a solo artist. In '07, he will play ten exclusive US dates this spring and one summer date in Holland. For a man who prefers to keep a low profile, his talent still shines brightly.

All Right Now, He's Still Incredible
Paul Rodgers has been on the music scene since 1969 when the first Free album 'Tons Of Sobs' was released. This album was released in 2007 and the guy sounds even better if that's possible.Without a doubt one of the greatest rock singers ever. What's terrific about this album is that the majority of the songs on it are Free songs. The man sings them like they're brand new.

Must Buy-Paul Rodgers
One of the best live cd's have heard, and not a Bad Company, but heard him with Joe Bonamassa at the Beacon; actually the CD, but saw Bonamassa this year, and so once I heard live CD from the Beacon, bought this one; it's crazy. I thought the best live CD I had heard recently was Van Morrison, Too Late to Stop Now, which has great acclaim, but this one is off the chart. The audience participation; his connection with them, and the music, make for a great buy and can't hurt that it is in Glasgow.

The Voice of the Blues
20 Stars!!!Glenn Hughes owns the Voice Of Rock, so Paul owns the Voice of the Blues. It's just like fine wine, Paul keeps getting better and better. Top notch band, and song selections are above par. I bought the DVD first. Amazing.

Another Live Performance From Paul Rodgers
Owner of one of the strongest and most recognizeable voices in rock, Paul Rodgers has been a major vocal player since his days with the band Free through his time with Bad Company and later with The Firm and The Law, among others. This is a strong effort and worth the purchase price for fans of Rodgers. I'd rate it a notch below the Live Bad Company disc, "Merchants of Cool."

Excellent Rock
Paul Rodgers "Live in Glasgow", is an excellent concert. Paul's band covers many of the old hits from "Free" and also Bad Company. Paul is one of the best Rock singers of all time, and his band does a great job. You will not be disappointed.

It passes the car test
This is one of those rare CDs that when it gets into my car, I can't stop playing it. It's rocky enough when I'm in a rock mood and bluesy and soulful enough when I'm feeling more mellow.I know some people dislike live albums but, as the author of the Best Live Albums blog, I much prefer them.Rodgers is a terrific singer, his band is tight and he's put together an excellent set list of Free and Bad Company classics with some more recent and less well known songs. It was recorded in 2006 and normally live albums recorded 30 years after the artists peak years suffer by comparison to those recorded in the prime. Not this one. Rodgers sings as well or perhaps even better than ever. Of course it helps that there isn't a definitive live album from the seventies. I've never fallen in love with Free Live (I don't know why) and there hasn't been a vintage live album by Bad Company. I understand Live Albuquerque 1976 is very good but it's never had an officially approved release. This then is as good as Paul Rodgers gets live. Unfortunately it's not perfect. Can't Get Enough and All Right Now are both crowd sing-alongs. Great fun when you're there but not so good when you're listening because of the quality of the main man's vocals.Highly recommended to any fan of Free, Bad Company and Paul Rodgers.

The Stealer in Good Company
Paul Rodgers is the greatest rock/blues/soul voice Britain has ever produced and one of the two or three best in the world. No, sod that - he`s the Greatest. Here we have 74 mins of Paul R at his stratospheric, gutbusting best, with a storming, yet sensitive, band (less `heavy rock` than on the excellent `Paul Rodgers Now` album of `97) and a choice of songs second to none. The sequence beginning with Muddy Waters` Louisiana Blues into Fire and Water seguing into Wishing Well is breathtakingly exciting. I`ve rarely heard PR`s vocals so fluid, so mightily soulful, so DAMN GOOD! The man has perfect pitch & seems to be able to do anything he wants with his godlike voice. If you want to hear what Rodgers buffs adore & revere about this man, get this stunning - and wonderfully recorded, well-packaged - CD, play loud, and hear an English singer who can be spoken of in the same breath as Otis, Wilson Pickett or Smokey Robinson. What this man has (far more than, say, Jagger or Stewart) is taste, innate bluesiness, and a sense of a song`s dynamic. All that and a back catalogue others must envy.Jimmy Page, Brian May, Rod Stewart - they all think he`s the bee`s knees. Me, I know he is.Can`t get enough, but I`m all right now.

Re-education......
Bought this in preparation for an upcoming gig. Just to give me a taste of what to expect and was well impressed. It's got the usual, Alright now, Bad company as well as other big hitters. But with in inclusion of some lesser known tunes (for me anyway) made this a great buy. This album includes a fantastic rendition of my favourite Free song, The Hunter, which for me was worth it alone. All in all a top CD, with Rodgers in fierce form.

Paul Rodgers Live in Glasgow - Amazing!
Can this man get any better with age? I think not! A mix of old and new - the new tracks are very good, 'Radioactive' is sung brilliantly but the guitarist goes a bit mental in the middle of the track, which is the one only down point of the whole album. Warboys is touch Duran Duran but the rest is pure gold. Paul not only sounds better than he did over 30 years ago, he looks better! Whatever young pills he is taking I want some! Vocally he is stronger than ever and never ceases to impress me with his huge range and seemingly never ending breath he holds inside him for those special little touches, laughs and notes that just make him Paul Rodgers.Worth every penny - an up to date version of true classics. If you appreciate great music and exceptional vocals this album will not disappoint.

Paul Rodgers in fine voice!
Fantastic concert with excellent sound quality. Paul Rodgers voice just seems to get better with age! Great selection of tracks from Free and Bad Co. to solo and even a brilliant version of Radioactive from his Firm days with Jimmy Page. Highly recommended!

The Master voice at his best.

Bluesy and Gutsy
Typical Paul Rogers of several decades with an excellent backing band, probably superior t the Montreux alternative, maybe because the band is better

The great Paul Rodgers at his best as usual. One of the great rhythm and blues voices singing all his classics. Pity there is no My Brother Jake.

Listen to the music. Switch out the light. Grap a joint and soon you will be drift away!!
