It opens the bottles but the shape is awkward, tried the can opener side once on a soda it didn't open it just bent the tab!

Great gift
Great gift for a 21 year old birthday. My nephew sticks it on his fridge at college. He said now they can’t lose their opener.

Not good at opening soda cans.
The reason I bought it was to open cans. When I tried to open cans it would just bend the tab instead of opening it about 1/2 the time. It was good for popping the seal on a jar, though. I haven’t tried opening a beer bottle yet. I liked that it has a magnet in it.
