What type of batteries do these take? the manual says aaa, but it's clearly some type of watch battery.

I discovered that we opened the wrong little door. Look at the bottom part the batt. go in there. I still have not found the angle setting yet

One of my favorite tools in the toolbox!

I love these torque wrenches! I was very hesitant to spend so much on a set of torque wrenches, but I am glad I did. You truly do get what you pay for. These are really easy to use once you understand the button functions and I love the audible tone to let you know when to stop. They feel really good and balanced in the hands and the combination of the two basically cover any need I have in the garage. They are very well made with a nice grip and easy to read LCD screen. My biggest issue with these is that they DO NOT like rechargeable batteries. No matter how new or charged up my rechargeable batteries are, the LCD screen is very dim. When I put normal batteries in, they are clear as day. Very weird, but something I just learned to deal with. I purchased these specifically to use on my bikes when I work on them, but I have already used them for numerous other jobs. Totally worth the cash!
