HOTTOR Sourdough Bread Knife, 16" Acacia Wood Slicer for Homemade Bread

This is a very sharp knife, my partner and I have both sliced ourselves pretty good on this thing, so be careful. It cuts bread without squishing it down though and its good quality! We've been using ours weekly for 8 months now and its still just as sharp as when we first bought it.

This is a must have for sourdough bakers. The price is reasonable and good quality. It is super sharp (be careful) and serrated so it slices both soft, crusty and sourdough with inclusions beautifully!

I’ve been using this bread knife for a while and it still cuts just as well as when I first got it. It slices through my sourdough loaves very easily and it’s easy to clean. I like how big the blade and handle is. It makes for an easy grip and I can cut through any size loaf.

Slicing through homemade sourdough can be tough, but this knife makes it effortless. The blade is incredibly sharp and saws through thick, crunchy crusts cleanly without squishing the soft inside of the loaf. It's an absolute must-have for any home baker!

Bought this after nearly losing my finger while cutting fresh sourdough. This works well, blade is nice and sharp. It’s super inexpensive so that nice. It is fairly long and a bit awkward in its shape for a draw but it has a twine so I just hang it. My only complaint if any is that the blade does have a little give so not all slices are exactly uniform. This happens most often with a fresh loaf that still has that nice crunch. It’s easy to use and pretty steady otherwise.

I started baking sourdough recently and was ready to give it up because the bread was such a pain to cut. We have 2 expensive bread knives (probably paid over $100 each from reputable companies) and they are not up to the task. I did a quick internet search and came across this. Ordered it on sale and it is AMAZING!! I have made 4 loaves since I got it and sliced them with ease - seriously, ease! I have since ordered 3 more so that I can gift a loaf and a knife. I brought a loaf to my parents today along with a knife. I had a moment of panic when they went to cut it and I remembered that both of my parents are left handed. Then I remembered the knife comes with a screw driver, so we quickly unscrewed the blade, flipped it around, and now they have a left-handed knife! Buy it if you need a good bread knife! It is a little big and obviously will not fit in any knife rack, but it comes with a blade cover which makes it easier to store in a drawer or cabinet.

I've been using my regular bread knife to cut sour dough loafs and heard these worked a lot better. All I can say is the do work a LOT BETTER. They're a game changer and for the price you can't go wrong!

I used this sourdough bread knife for the first time today and the wood snapped on the 2nd slice of bread. Not good quality and would not recommend. One star for this item.
