I’ve been a PC gamer and heavy computer user for around 13 years now, and this ASUS ROG Strix XG259CS genuinely impressed me for the price. I mainly use this monitor for competitive gaming, general daily PC use, and content creation, and it has handled everything extremely well so far. The 180Hz refresh rate actually performs as advertised, which is something I can’t say for every monitor I’ve used before. The gameplay feels incredibly smooth, responsive, and fluid, especially in FPS games. Compared to my older ASUS monitor and my HP monitor, this display is noticeably brighter, sharper, and clearer. Colours look much better, motion handling is smooth, and the Fast IPS panel makes a huge difference when gaming or editing content. The image quality immediately stood out to me after setting it up. What also surprised me was the flexibility and build quality. The stand rotates and spins easily, making it very convenient to adjust depending on your setup. It’s also fairly large without being overwhelming, and the overall design feels premium for what is still a relatively budget-friendly monitor. The USB Type-C support is a nice addition, and setup was very straightforward. It arrived in only 2 days, packaged extremely well with no issues at all. Now, I’m not saying this is some elite, top-end esports monitor, but for the price, it absolutely delivers. If you need a good gaming monitor quickly without spending a fortune, this is honestly one of the better options I’ve used. It exceeded my expectations and did not disappoint. Things that worked well: Smooth and true 180Hz refresh rate Bright, sharp, and clear display Great for gaming and content creation Fast response time feels responsive Adjustable stand with good flexibility Well packaged and arrived quickly Excellent value for the money What didn’t: It’s not a “premium elite” monitor compared to very high-end esports displays I dont believe it has inbuilt speakers which is a bummer but it puts all the work in the actual displah Overall, this monitor is definitely worth the price. ASUS did a very good job balancing performance, quality, and affordability here. For anyone wanting a strong above-budget gaming monitor without overspending, I’d highly recommend, its good at displaying. portraying colours and a very well reputable company, ive been using this for a couple of months and had not one issue, the best part is this is specifcally designed for gaming and comes with buttons on the back of the moniter pannel that you can edit to your own desire, its easily to setup. and granrs no headahces and the display quality speaks for itself, this is a non bias review, a verified purchase and a substantial upgrade from my original moniter, id rate this 8/10 on a scale from S being the beSt and F being the worst, id give this A tier, id buy this again id i wanted to go inexpensive etc BONUS CONCLUSION durability A Value for money AAA picture quality AA Easly rotatable and height adjustable AAA Overall quality and long term useness AAAA Bonus Bonus Keys This monitsd is rotatable, and adjustable to supporr your needs and how you like your moniter, it is tiltable, it is quite heavy so you know its well sought and designed, comes with custom stickers and borderless exept for the bottom its 24.5 inchds so average for a moniter and very durable if it got hit or fell etc but can only handle so muc its 180Hz which is amazinf and you can use all Hz I brougjt a more expensive moniter before this, it claimed 240Hz but I was only able to select 140Hz, and It was a rip off for 200 GBP this monirer stand for the Asus Rog STRIX very reputable I recommend it, stand is very ergonomic and stable, can put your phone in it and rhe stand is heavy on its own, when you need to set up the monitwr its a simple connect and drop, no scews needed exept for installing tthe stand Finally, I love this moniter, Its worth it in my eyes if your a generic gamer, it runs games amazingly, and displays colours amazingly I cant recommend this enough

I bought this with high expectations that were met. Went from tv desk gaming to a monitor desk which actually increases my frames and res but it does seem bigger than 24 inch for some reason.

Good monitor, I used it as second monitor vertically and I've had no issues (whereas I tried another one before and there were some issues).

Excellent quality product. The ASUS ROG Strix XG259CS USB Type-C Gaming Monitor – 24.5 inch 1920x1080, 180Hz at £109.99 was amazing value. Indeed there is 240+hz options for a similar price but imo the Rog Strix branding matters. This is a strong, durable piece of equipment. Its the easiest unbox and setup too. Its not cheap plastic, this thing is solid and heavy, its not going to break or wear down easy. Also has amazing adjustment options: height, tilt and can turn it between horizontal and vertical. The on screen display and settings are so easy to access and change ito your exact preference.

Ideal all-rounder.. Fab quality , great value for your money.

Smashing monitor deathly recommend

Bought one of these for each of my kids. I have the bigger, higher resolution version of these monitors. The 25" 1080p version is great! Clear images, fast refresh rate - great for casual and competitive gamimg, and vivid color. I just wish they'd include a speaker - even a cheap one! These are the perfect size for compact spaces, or having multiple on the same desk. I got them on sale so the value was really good.

Excelente monitor, tiene buenos colores y excelente brillo, el diseño se ve excelente y a la medida para el lugar donde lo tengo instalado en un brazo para monitor, el tiempo de respuesta es excelente, un detalle es que en colores totalmente negros en pantalla completa se nota un poquito de fugas de luz, pero apenas y se notan si se le pone atención que nada molesta, se ve bien en lo general!!!

The 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make everything super smooth, especially for fast-paced shooters. The Fast IPS panel looks great with solid colors and wide viewing angles—way better than regular TN panels. It’s also G-SYNC Compatible, so no tearing or stuttering.
