Turns out it's the real thing, made of real wood and it has real barbed wire on it. I have no doubt that if I hit a intruder with this toy, he'll hit the floor with his bones fractured.

This is a real wood bat, with real barbed wire. The bat, as a replica to Lucille from Walking Dead, is a darker, more reddish color. But still beautiful. I bought the bat for my husband, as Negan for Halloween. He didn't like that the wire wasn't stapled, and that it coiled down almost to the bottom. Luckily, because it wasn't stapled, he was able to recoil it, then staple it himself. He loves it, despite small differences. He wants to create a shelf to showcase it. Lol.

ITS A REAL BADASS HARDWOOD HANDLE STAINLESS STEEL BARBWIRE

The barbed wire is only attached to the bottom. That means that the attacker can pull it right off. The plastic that wrapped around the bat is nearly impossible to get off the bat, the barbed wire comes up with it. The plastic is tangled up with the wire. Crappy product, not recommended for use except as a prop.
