The nice thing about this lamp is it has NO visible assembly seams in the pole and the pole will never bend after assembly plus it does not look "assembled" like something from IKEA (or worse) based on some of the other options here on amazon in the customer review pictures. This lamp also has a very heavy and sturdy base that will not fall over under the weight of the lamp shade like many people complain about here as well from other lamps. I bought the lamp with the remote control option, it is well worth it!! The remote gives you infinate adjustment using 2 dimmer buttons. One dimmer button controls the warmth (yellow or white light) and then the other dimmer controls the brightness of the light, so you can dial up a warm light or white light, and then turn up or down the brightness of it. Your eyes will thank you. All I can say is look at how cheap and cheesy most of the other lamp poles look in the $40 to $60 price range and how they literally bend at the top under the weight of the lamp shade, or even fall over in the reviews! This design will never do that unless you put a really heavy lamp shade on it and bumped it, it is very solid and has a nice paint job (I got the black option). Highly recommended due to the super cool remote dimmer buttons plus the lamp pole doesn't look cheesy like all the other ones.

These lamps are easy to assemble and look exactly as pictured on Amazon. They’re also very stable & the foot switch allows for 3 choices of brightness. Very cute in my family room.

Nice lamp for the money, goes together easily, base is sturdy enough - mine is on hardwood floor, not sure about carpet. Thought I didn’t get the hardware but it’s nestled in the styrofoam, so it was there. Some reviews say the shade is small but it does tell you the size online. It’s perfect for where I wanted it and is very nice. Remote works, the bulb included does give different shades from warm to cool, you can dim it or make it bright. Looks nice and so far, I’m happy with my purchase.

Perfect piece for my boho decor! Was so very easy to put together, good quality and I love that I can step on the button to turn on/off, on top of that you can tilt it for whatever lighting needs you have at the time.

Not very bright, small lamp. It is beautiful but I wanted it for my living room. It is to dim for a living room. Although maybe a small office or child’s bedroom.
