A Few "Pro-Tips" from My Setup: Check Your Port: Before you buy, make sure your laptop's USB-C port actually supports "DisplayPort Alt Mode" or video output. If it’s just a basic data port, the HDMI won’t work, and you’ll be left wondering why your monitors are dark. Heat: Like most high-powered hubs, it can get a little warm when you have ten things plugged in at once. It’s nothing alarming, but I’d recommend keeping it in a spot with a little airflow rather than burying it under a stack of papers. The "Screw" Factor (Again): While there aren't literal screws here, the connection is snug. Just be gentle with the main cable; since everything relies on that one plug, you want to treat it with a bit of respect. The Verdict If you’re looking to turn a single laptop into a full-blown desktop workstation with dual monitors, this is a fantastic value. It’s sturdy, reliable, and has enough ports to satisfy even the most gadget-heavy setup. My desk is finally organized, and I only have to plug in one cable to get to work.

Great hub for my laptops. Lots of ports for connection to all of my video and USB accessories! Very solid, has worked for a couple of months now without a glitch for my Surface and MacBook. Paired with my USBC charger it has plenty of power!

At first I was annoyed about it not having a power supply. But then I remembered how cheap it was. I haven’t used it with a 2nd monitor yet but once I added a 300w power supply I had lots of confidence in it charging my laptop and also connecting to other devices at the same time. Be sure to get a strong type C power supply.

I chose this one to be sure I had enough ports for my monitors, speakers, and USB devices and it's a great price. It was easy setup - plug and play. I love that I can share my desktop to my two full-size monitors without having to use the laptop monitor, though it could be used if you needed a third monitor.

**Update** I have to give credit to the supplier. They read my review and offered a full refund. They clearly stand behind their product. HDMI outputs stopped working within a week or so. Can't get them to reconnect. I plugged the monitor directly into the computer and it worked fine, I used a different docking hub I had bought previously and it worked too. Sadly, this happened after the return window, so I'm stuck with the loss. I wouldn't buy this product if I were you.

Perfect docking station for my laptop set up!

I really like all of the connection points (USB-C, HDMI, etc.) that the dock offers. It allowed me to shift some of the connections that I used to have on my laptop to the dock, which allows my wife and I to more easily swap out our set ups. It is super easy to connect and it helps to organize the wires trailing all over our desk for our two-monitor station. I was also happy with the price point, significantly cheaper than the Dell ones while still providing all the necessary pieces. The dock itself seems sturdy and has a good heft to it, which I think will make it last for a long time (especially with not having to swap out wires/fobs all the time).

This is the third dock I have purchased in the last 3 years or so (different brands). The previous one lasted a little over 2 years. So, I am not setting my expectations high, thus the 4-star rating. It performs as expected and the setup is easy (HP ENVY Laptop); it fits my needs. Now longevity will be the bigger issue. Price wise it's decent and if I can get 2 or more years' worth of use out of it, then I am ok with that.
