I like this rack...but don't love it.
I installed this on my 2009 CR-V with a sunroof. It was a little more of a hassle to install than I expected, in part because the instructions were minimal. Each attachment includes 3 pieces + Allen Nuts. You put down the rubber gasket, then the hard plastic piece, then thread that down over the bolts sticking up from the car. After this, a plastic cover is supposed to click over the whole piece. I showed a picture of this without the cover both because I wanted to show what it looks like and because that's what my car looks like right now. After my first drive, one of the covers popped off in the middle of the road. I went back and got it...but haven't gotten it back on. Instructions say to tighten until it just starts to get snug, then just a 90 degree turn. I may have overtightened them but the plastic covers are REALLY hard to fit on and get them to click into place. This one on the driver's side popped off; the others seem okay, but now I'm not confident they're really secure. I think I'd rather have a screw to ensure they stay on than these plastic tabs we're counting on right now.Maybe my car has just shifted with all the miles on it, but these mounts fit on a little different in each mounting point. On one of them, the bolts didn't seem to protrude up as much as others so I really had to press just to get the nuts to screw onto the bolts.I like that it uses the built-in mounting bolts. Unfortunately, those mounting points are really close together (front-to-back) on this car, so I'm worried about its ability to carry long items like my kayak.Over 60mph, they started to whistle, which was a little annoying (but may have to do with the missing cover). My brother wrapped a line of paracord around his whistling roof rack (different car/rack) to alleviate the whistle. I may have to do that if this persists. Overall, I think it looks sharp (with the covers on) and offers me greater flexibility for carrying supplies now that I have it.

Install trick - great cross bars
Great value and works great once I figured out how to adjust and install. 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The instructions are ok, but don’t mention that the outer bolt should be loosened significantly, and then pushed firmly down to pop the bracket down enough to attach to the rail tracks. The inner bolt does not need to be as loose for install.

Trash!!!!
I bought two sets which I could never adjust because their low quality causes the nut to give way.

Great quality
These fit our car perfectly and they were easy to install. Great value for the money. They look great and work perfectly.

Huge wind noise
They seem pretty sturdy but the wind noise is EXCESSIVELY loud! Not sure I like the oblong shaped design, the kayak racks seem to rock too much with it being sloped

Good buy
2014 ford escape se 1.6lWell built and easy to installDeducted 1 star because the bolts that attach the cars side rails were too long. Just threw in shorter bolts and it worked fine.

Excellent Quality
Very nice cross bars. They are fairly easy to install. The Directions are vague, but it was easy to figure out how these went together. They are adjustable as advertised. They work well once installed. they expand the storage capacity by enabling extra roof top storage to be connected. Absolutely worth the price.
