I wanted to wait until I had this one for a few months before reviewing it. For the money- it is a must buy. The first one I got wasn't cut all the way and Amazon swapped it out right away. The color is great, the only difference is the mac is shiny and this is kind of textured. It fits well and have no issues with any raises edges or peeling. I wear a bunch of jewelry so I wanted to protect the rests from scratches and it has held up incredibly well- to the point there is no visible scratches on the vinyl itself. Adhesive is good, but will leave a little room for play when initially installing it. Also, this works if you have a case on your mac as well. I suggest taking the case off while installing though.

Purchased a little over six months ago and I decided it was time to make an honest review. I can confidently say I made the right choice by purchasing this palm rester and trackpad cover for my 15-inch MacBook Air. It was super easy to install and line up. Color matches almost seamlessly with the midnight hue. It's very easy to clean and wipe dust off of. All in all a very welcome addition to my laptop's protection and worth the price. Would definitely recommend.

As the title says, this is one of the best skins that I’ve found for the Space Black MacBook Pro. When I first got my MacBook, I couldn’t find a space black skin from the company I usually get it from so I took a risk with this one and loved it. While it’s not 100% a perfect match, it’s close enough to where you won’t notice it and it blends in nicely. Plus, it feels great on your hands and rarely gets any fingerprints. If any do appear, a simple cloth wipe will clear it off. Installation wasn’t too bad. It took a little time to make sure it was perfectly even all around. So far, it is holding on great and the adhesive is strong and durable. It fits perfectly to the edges of the MacBook and it is thin enough to not affect the screen in any way possible. I already have a cover on the trackpad, so I have yet to use the trackpad part of the skin.

Very easy to install and does it job well.

Would have been nearly perfect if it weren't for the fact that the included microfiber cloth bled dye onto the protector skin. It's transparent so when I pulled it off the backing, it showed the black marks from the dye. I put in for a refund & replacement so I'll update when I get it. Other than that, with the one piece that was unblemished, it has a great feel, seems to be good quality, and durable. It is not a perfect fit, it is about a millimeter too long along the top of the computer above the keyboard. If it were only that, I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I can't speak any more highly of this and the other ones I have had for other laptops. CaseBuy builds are good and they keep the real surface protected from the oil, grime and dirt of the fingers and palm. Add a keyboard protector and you are now totally protected from accidental spill and food crumbs. Worth it! Just take care during the install to line it up correctly. I peel only a small corner and start sticking and then peeling the rest as I go. That way, I can correct mistakes quickly instead of a total misaligned install. Every single install, except the first one, if I do it this way, comes out just fine. If you get a color closer to the original laptop color, it would not stick out and just blends in giving a seamless look.

Here's my two cents on a mixed review - Pros - I love the feel and the look and the color is a perfect match. The alignment is NOT so EASY as they proclaim. If you've put a dozen on you'd likely be better than the first attempt and what we all want is for it to work first time every time. My left palm rest caught my wrist and curled it up a bit, then it folded, then it rest off the surface and causes a constant irritation to my wristal area, not so great. Also the tiny part at the top is kinda pointless and when I put it on, it crimped (LOL) and now I have a seam looking thing on the top cover...BUT THAT WRIST part, IS SO ANNOYING let me tell you. FIX IT!

Sticks on the laptop surface well. Not too difficult to stick it on, but needs some care to begin with.

Gostei bastante do material e da textura, vamos ver com passar do tempo mas o adesivo é de boa qualidade e de fácil aplicação. Ele vem com uma espátula e um paninho para limpeza. Quando forem aplicar recomendo que tirem o adesivo extra que fica em volta do touch pad(última foto), melhora bastante o uso. Ele não é exatamente o tamanho, o que ajuda os público em geral a aplicação, além de cumprir a função de proteger a grande área em contato com os punho e mãos. E para usar o touch pad fica a mesma coisa, muda só a textura mesmo. No geral, muito bom, recomendo!

I don't know why whoever designed this thought it's ok to leave out the side edges out. Just a simple 2 strips of the same material could've been carved and included. It's quite annoying to have them remain uncovered while the rest has the vinyl on. Still, I'm very pleased with the item, I didn't face any bubbling or issues while applying it, BUT, you have to be careful in aligning the edges well. The trackpad feels a bit coarse, but it's ok, and it doesn't oil up easily.
