It's not a 925 sterling silver chain.
It's just a cheap plated brass chain. The image is magnified at 1500X where you can see the brass color under the plating and then at 2500X where you can see up close it's definitely just brass under plating.

Sent used chain
I ordered this as a gift for Christmas. They run extremely short so I ended up ordering few different sizes to see which one looks better. They last one arrived today and it was not even packed the same as the other 2. After I opened it the chain was just lose in the box and looked completely different from what I ordered. For otlne thing it's much much darker! I put it on the white paper towel next to the other one so you can see the difference in style and color. Anyway, other than that the original chain is beautiful, well made, beautifully packed l, and reasonably priced. This last one looks to me like someone just sent their old chain back to the company and kept the new one.
