EltaMD UV Skin Recovery 100% Mineral Face Sunscreen, SPF 50

I am very happy with this EltaMD sunscreen. It has a lightweight texture, absorbs well, and does not leave my skin feeling oily. I really like that it is 100% mineral with zinc oxide, making it a gentle option for sensitive skin. The SPF 50 protection gives me confidence for daily use, and I have been able to wear it without irritation or dryness. It leaves my skin looking natural and feels comfortable under makeup. I've really enjoyed using this sunscreen. It feels gentle on my skin, doesn't leave my face feeling greasy, and provides good sun protection. It layers well with my skincare routine and hasn't irritated my sensitive skin. It also correct my red skin to look better.

This sunscreen is THAT girl. I have an allergy to chemical sunscreens, so I’ve always been stuck with the white cast of a mineral sunscreen. Not with this one! The formula is super smooth and lays down beautifully on top of my skincare. The green tint does an amazing job with my rosacea and there is absolutely zero white cast. My skin feels hydrated and plump. I have no issues with acne wearing this sunscreen either. I consider sunscreen to be the most important part of my routine (I make alabaster look like it’s blushing) and I feel the cost is absolutely justified for this product.

I am obsessed with this sunscreen. It is better than any moisturizer I own. I honestly think this contributed to my skin healing faster. If I could afford it I would use this year round. I started using it after getting CO2 laser on some scars and loved it ever since. It goes on weightlessly and leaves my skin feeling amazing for hours. This left no white cast on me, but as a disclaimer I do have fair skin. Like most sunscreens it needs to be reapplied every few hours, not only for the full protection, but your skin can dry out too. I only use this after procedures because of the price, but I truly wish I could use this all the time!

I used this product for about 3 days and loved it until my skin decided that it hated it. I have super sensitive skin and I started getting the tingles that are a precursor to major inflammation if I don't stop using the product. Fortunately, most people don't have skin as sensitive as mine. I would definitely recommend it as a sunscreen for people with typical or mildly sensitive skin. It was neither drying nor dewy. It went on smoothly. I did not discern any scent. It was effective in protecting my skin from the sun. The tint was just a hair too dark for my fair to medium skin, but it would be fine to use for casual days. It most definitely did not leave any kind of a green tint.

I first received a sample of this sunscreen, and I loved it so much that I ordered the full-size product. From the very first application, my skin felt comfortable and hydrated. It’s lightweight, leaves no white cast or greasy residue, and it’s completely fragrance-free, which I really appreciate. The only downside is that I expected the bottle to be a little bigger for the price. Even so, the quality of the product makes it worth it for me, and I would definitely recommend it.

Last month I was newly diagnosed with rosacea and my skin was super sensitive to anything. Lots of burning and stinging. I used to use chemical sunscreen but my face wasn’t tolerating it and I was having such a hard time finding a mineral sunscreen I could use that didn’t feel terrible on my face. There was a sale so I decided to try it. My face tolerated it so that was really nice. And it feels fine on my skin once it’s absorbed, not heavy or anything. But I really can’t justify the price for this, especially for daily use. When I apply it the green tint doesn’t counteract any of my redness at all, I’m not expecting magic, but at least something for this price? It also stings my eyes. So I’ll use it up because it’s so expensive, but I won’t purchase again.

Excellent works calms evens out tone and redness, protects the skin from sun, but does so much more It actually heals not cover up. I have the Clear version. I will buy all their products as far as I need a good moisturizer for nighttime and I’m gonna buy their product versus. Cera Ve daily moisturizer.. It’s good stuff hard to find in Miami. There’s one Boutique in Miami that sells it a company that does facials and eyebrows and treatments like that and then there’s Amazon you don’t have to leave your house same price excellent service next day shipping and if they screw up, they always stand behind their products. Amazon is awesome. I look forward to wearing it because I know at the time it helps me look my best. It’s only a pain in the ass to put on as a man but that’s anything we use.
