Review: You already know the movies are good. The box set is good too. - This is a gorgeous box set. I'm relieved that the movies are in individual, normal cases, and not the cardboard sleeves that have become far too common. The pop-up diorama is cute, but a little flimsy. That's not a big deal though, because the front box art is great, so if you're anything like me, you'll have that facing out on the shelf instead of displaying the diorama anyway. The patches and headband are good-looking, quality collectables. And, apparently, there's a chance that the trading cards will include a bonus card signed by either Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, or Ben Wang, which I didn't even know was a possibility. So I was pleasantly surprised to find a Ralph Macchio autograph in my pack. Do I even need to say anything about the movies themselves? You already know that the original is a stone-cold classic. Part 2 is very nearly just as good. And while Part 3 is... ridiculous, it's worth it as a set-up for the later seasons of the Cobra Kai TV series. Speaking of TV series, the 4k disc of Part 3 has, among the bonus features, every episode of the Karate Kid animated series, which is hands-down the silliest thing to ever come out of this franchise, and I unironically love it. I grew up with the Karate Kid movies and loved the Cobra Kai series. This movie has a lot going for it. The only issue I have is the "bad guy" isn't very bad. I loved everything else about the movie.

Great Continuation!
Love how this movie combines the original and the Jackie Chan version into one universe. Well choreographed fight scenes. Fun story! Highly recommend!

SPLENDID!
After viewing the “Karate Kid Legends” a second time, from start to finish, I concluded that this film was indeed masterfully created. The overall on-screen performance was well synchronized and superb, leading to a climactic showdown in the final tournament that keeps the audience pleased and begging for more. Needless to say, I’m always for the underdog rising up and kicking the bully’s buttocks. For those of you, critics, who disagree with me, you’re entitled to your own opinions. Will there be a sequel to this Karate Kid masterpiece? I hope so.

Karate Kid: Legends (2025) logra lo que parecía imposible: unir generaciones enteras bajo el espíritu del “wax on, wax off”. Esta nueva entrega combina acción, emoción y respeto por el legado original, con una historia que conecta de forma orgánica a los personajes clásicos con los nuevos. La versión 4K Ultra HD es simplemente espectacular. La fotografía luce increíble, con colores más naturales, excelente contraste y una definición que resalta cada movimiento de las peleas y cada detalle de los escenarios. El sonido Dolby Atmos también eleva la experiencia, especialmente durante las secuencias de entrenamiento y los combates finales. Como producto físico, esta edición destaca por su presentación de lujo y los materiales adicionales. Una película que honra el pasado mientras construye el futuro de la saga. Fantastic set!
I watched all 6 films in glorious 4K - beautiful transfers. Was wonderful to revisit these classics and see the new films as well. The extras are well done, watched the bonus features and really appreciated the in depth behind the scenes presentation. Loved the bonus goodies! Treat yourself. 🍿🍿
