I do not recommend taking these other than as stated on the label but here is my experience and why some people probably got no effect. First of all, if you take these with food they will simply act as a digestive enzyme. If you take them at least 1 hour after eating and a few hours before eating again they will work for many other things. I originally ordered these to help someone with MS after reading about them on a site about helping MS. This person had scar tissue on the optic nerve and was losing vision. After I got him the pills his vision began to improve. However he stopped taking them because “he couldn’t have his morning coffee”. Honestly I think the reason was he liked to identify as a sick person. Anyway- I thought, well I will take them and see what happens for me. I had stretch marks that were about 16 years old at this point. They began to disappear!! Not the whole mark, but they became flat to the skin and the bluish/silvery appearance went away. They are hardly noticeable now. I also read they can eat away the part of cancer cells that prevents cancer drugs from being effective. Note: I am not saying it cures it but makes treatment more effective. I also have a lot of bed genetics and I am planning to begin taking them again to help “eat” all of those nasty byproducts that happen as a result of less than optimum diet. I have a few minor issues now and recently had surgery and I will report back on those in a few months. Oh I should also mention that the dosage on the bottle is not what I used. I quickly got up to six pills at a time. Again not recommending this but that was the dosage that was used for the above results.

Have used this for MANY YEARS~! Keeps my blood thinner without the need for prescription blood thinners, and it has so many more benefits~!

i have been taking vitalzymes for over five years now as a way to prevent poison oak outbreaks. i live in an area that is full of poison oak and have become very sensitive to it. before i started on vitalzymes i would frequently break out in rashes that covered my arms and legs and stomach. vitalzymes have been an amazing cure for this problem because they counteract the body's inflammatory response. that is why it is so effective with fibromyalgia. but it also works wonders with other inflammatory problems (allergic reactions) such as poison oak/ivy, insect bites, and common allergies. since i have been taking vitalzymes i have not had a poison oak outbreak. i will still occasionally get a small rash here and there, but it doesn't really itch and never spreads. i have also been nearly immune to mosquito bites. i will still get bit, of course, but they don't swell up and they don't itch. i have also had very few problems with seasonal allergies since taking vitalzymes. as others have stated, it is necessary to build up enough vitalzymes in your body to see an effect. i took a double dosage for a couple of months until it started to work, but since then i only need to take one a day.

I would pay double the price for these unless I could find another product that works just as good. This is my first systemic enzyme I have tried so maybe other systemic enzymes will help me just as much. I wanted to use this for a couple of months before I wrote a review which I have done. I wanted to make sure they didnt only work for a couple weeks. I started out taking 4 capsules 4 times a day and some days 5 caps 3 times a day. I am now at 3 capsules 4 times a day. I am trying to get at taking only 8 caps per day while maintaining my good digestion. Hopefully overtime I wont even need these. My digestion is like night and day when I take these vs when I dont. I have tried other digestive enzymes, yogurt, kefir and other things but nothing has helped with my digestion other than raw grass fed cow milk. I tend to drink to much raw milk which makes me constipated. Drinking a lot of raw milk adds additional calories also and I'm on a diet so I stop drinking that, at least for now. I still believe raw milk is the best food for people without a doubt. Update: ok so it appears to be the serrapeptase in this that is helping with my digestion so much. I researched each of the individual enzymes in Vitalzym and decided to try a serrapeptase supplement with ONLY serrapeptase. So I stop taking vitalzym and waited about a week before I started taking the serrapeptase supplement. At a much cheaper price, my digestion is just as good as it was when I was taking the vitalzym. I have been taking serrapeptase for about 2 months at a fairly high dosage. Around 360,000 units per day that I split into 3 doses. You will probably feel woozy if you start out taking that much so start out with a small dosage. I am not trying to promote any particular brand of serrapeptase. I don't think it really matters what brand I take. I just choose the 1 that gave me the best bang for my buck.

I bought this product on a recommendation from Melissa of "Cure Endometriosis" blog/website fame and so far so good. I think it takes a little longer than I've been using these enzymes to really kick in but I think they're worth every penny (or cent, since they're currently only available fromt he States). Great product, and I'll be buying again. Oh, but you have to mind there's also a US/UK Customs fee on top of the purchase price, but still Worth It! Thanks

Originally was taking these 26 years ago when I transitioned from vegetarian to vegan while taking these I noticed my keloids on my ears started shrinking (random) and one I had on my foot due to a childhood accident. Once I noticed it started to eat up fibrin which is in keloid/fibroid I started telling all my friends about this. Many reported ridding their body of fibroids. I recently had surgery, and I turned to old reliable to again rid my body of scar tissue and pain. They are doing their job. I always take at bedtime they can increase hunger if taken during the day, and I double the dosage amount so instead of 2 I take 4-6 on an empty belly before bed to let it work.Or even when I wake up for a middle of the night bathroom run I take them.. I tried the advance formula. But these seem to work best for me.. I don’t take them within two hours of eating to ensure they aren’t working as a digestive enzyme but systematically.. Wanna change the game on your scar tissue and pain.. I’d recommend these.. Nope no monies, or products where exchanged for this review. I’m just. a honest vegan looking to improve my health.

I am 50 years of age.. i have been physically active all my life. I ran track all the way through college. Also i used to work out. I have chronic knee arthritis in both knees.. So my BFF shared this product with me and advise me to read the reviews. She purchased it about two weeks prior and was happy with the results. So I decided to give it a try. I ordered it, the bottle comes with 90 capsules and it's advise to take 3 capsules daily. I have 12 capsulses left today. My stiffness is cut more than half. I started back going to the gym and the joint pain doesn't linger as long as it normally does post my workout. I just want to say if you suffer from chronic joint pain, stiffness and you want to get active or remain active. Make this product part of your daily supplement. I don't leave home with out it. In the morning I drink my tea and pop three. Order one bottle, try it and mark your results.Trust me you WILL NOT regret it. The cost is not more expensive than all other joint support products on the market today. I am ordering my second bottle now. Hopefully this will be around forever.

I was using serrepeptase without issue and decided to add the full spectrum enzymes as well. I was intrigued by these since they included serrepeptase with the digestive enzymes in the same capsule. I just took 2 capsules/day and was careful to time it so that it was 2 hours after eating and two hours before the next meal (ensuring a 4 hour window is easiest at night before bed). I do have borderline diabetes and noticed my morning glucose readings were higher than usual. I cut out these capsules and my glucose numbers settled back down, so it seems to be the effect of the enzymes. I don't think they did me any more good then taking the serrepetase on its own so dropping it doesn't feel like a big deal. The reason I dropped the rating on these is because the proprietary formula listing on the label makes it impossible to know how much of an ingredient is in the capsule. If I was going to continue taking them, I would have liked to drop my stand-alone serrepeptase but didn't have any idea how much was in the Vitalzyme capsule. I couldn't find the info anywhere online and had no luck getting the info when I contacted the company. I get skeptical when companies hide behind proprietary formula designations.
