These grips are perfect. It changed the whole feel of my 1911. The thumb groove made getting to that mag release way better. I love it.

Typical Magpul quality.
I had a hard time deciding on a new set of grips for my Para U.S.A. 1911 then I ran across these from Magpul and they are very nice. I know many do not like OD Green now that dirt is the new color to put on firearms but to me the grips look very nice against the nitron black of the 1911. Feel wise I think they are about perfect for me. The texture is grippy with out feeling like it will rub your skin off like some of the more aggressive grips. I can not imagine ever feeling like I do not have control over the 1911 with these grips installed. I ran 50 rounds and they felt very solid and comfortable.When I get another 1911 I will be putting a set of these grips on it and I recommend you do as well.

comfort and control
Best damn grips I have ever owned, and they look sexy as hell on my 1911. the comfort and control over the original wood grips is amazing. MAGPUL has done it again with another high quality practical product that is priced better than perfect. I thought this one was going to suck but I was pleasantly proven wrong. now if they would make 1911 pmags I would be in heaven. MAGPUL has earned a customer for life out of this infantryman with their mags and accessories.
