40Pcs Small Antique Hinges Bronze Jewelry Box Hardware for Wooden Boxes

Made 7 jewelry boxes and used these hinges. I pre-drilled the screw holes and they fit great. I did wipe a little paste wax across the holes to assist the screws going into the cherry & walnut. I used my mini/eyeglass screwdriver set to select the right size Philips head. (they are too small for regular screwdrivers) No screws broke and hinges do the job. I would buy these again and certainly recommend them. Remember: Pre Drill the holes-these are tiny screws.

I am using them to make designer boxes and they are the perfect size. I was disappointed because they do not open all the way. It did not say that in the description anywhere that I read. I wish I would have none that because I needed them to open all the way - in other words not stop at a 90* angle. Otherwise they are great!

Decent quality and reasonable price. These old jewelry boxes’ hardware don’t last long, as most were tin and tin breaks easily. It’s too early to know how long this hardware will last but the quality of the metal feels good and heavier- which means more metal- I hope. It’s easy to use and every hinge has been a good one. M

I used these for Hobbit/Fairy doors. The hinges are super cute and small enough for what i was looking for. Durable as well. These are hanging on trees outside in the yard and are a super cute addition to my yard art.

these are typical quality for a small hinge. They have a built in stop to keep them from opening too far. Unfortunately, the stops are not set to allow a 90degree opening. It is more like 75 or 80. For the boxes I build, it needs to be a full 90 degrees or the lid closes on you. It would have been nice if the listing had mentioned this. I will be sending them back.

If your a hobbyist, or use a lot of small hinges for projects, these are hard to beat. very well made which was a surprise when I opened them. I was expecting cheep stamped hinges. Not the case at all. In fact, they're actually better made than the small packs I bought from a big box store at 10x the price. $3 for a 2 pack cut deeply into my profit margins on my feeders I make. Did, and WILL reorder again.

Nice hinges and the perfect size for using on bird houses. I drill small holes for inserting the screws, especially in hard woods.

One of the worst product with very low quality..The the hinges are bent and screws got cut while attaching to small jewelry box. Don't waste your money on this cheap product. Highly disappointed with my purchase.

Purchased as hinges for the roof of bird houses, these work well except screws are a touch smaller than I'd like as I'm going into cedar wood. I could upgrade them but I also realize these weren't specifically designed for use in softer wood, but they are holding so far! Nice design and easy to install. I can update later with a photo.
