Good products both puller and cartridge worked well. I thought it was a little pricey for the package, but the puller is well made and makes the job easier especially if you have a tight fitting cartridge. I would recommend watching a couple of videos on YouTube especially if it is your first attempt.

Garbage. Old OEM Moen cartridge was leaking very slightly: one drip every 2 or 3 minutes. Thought it'd be a good idea to replace it before it got worse. Got this kit. Worried that it wasn't OEM, but thought it would still work at least for a while, worst case. I was horribly wrong. Removed old OEM cartridge, was fairly tough to get out, but with some gentle back and forth motion it came out. Installed this cartridge carefully, lubed as per instructions, with the silicone that was provided, was careful not to push on stem. Thought it was odd that it slid in so easily, but thought that maybe it was just because it was lubed. And then once it was in, I couldn't get the retaining clip to seat firmly. Then compared to OEM clip (Moen clip is in the right, this kit's clip is on the left in the picture). The aftermarket clip is slightly shorter, and the tips bent a bit more, so it wouldn't seat securely on the lower part of the barrel. Tried the Moen clip, and it popped right in, secure, seated. So then reassembled everything, set the close stop, turned on water, and... it wouldn't shut off. No matter the position that I tried to set the stem, the least flow that I received was still a steady trickle. It would not shut off completely. Took it all back out, inspected, checked the barrel for any debris or scratches. Was very smooth, no issues. Tried reassembling. Same result. Profuse leakage. Pulled out, took the seals off of this cartridge, and put them on the old Moen cartridge. Reinstalled that Moen cartridge. When off, leakage was now down to just rapid drips. So even if the aftermarket cartridge was bad, their seals made it even worse. Put the old original seals back on the OEM Moen cartridge, reinstalled. Whew. I'm now back to one drip every few minutes. Guess I'll live with that for now, until I can get on OEM Moen repair kit. What a waste of an afternoon. Nothing about this kit was any good, except for maybe the removal tool. Do not buy this kit!

I’m very happy with this cartridge kit. It was easy to install, fit my Moen shower valve perfectly, and fixed my issue right away. Everything I needed was included, and the instructions were straightforward. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do at a great price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone replacing a worn-out Moen cartridge.

This item is a life saver!!!! Even if it is not the OEM for Moen. It works. The kit included helps with replacing other parts. The difficulty on replacing this "cylinder" is when removing it you can either use the removal tool or the other end of a hammer to carefully leverage and rock the unit out due to the suction and pressure from the time it was installed. This was my 1st replacement since bathroom was installed 20years ago. For 32 bucks it's better than. The 75 bucks to actually pay for the Moen replacement then installing. It took me 90mins to install due to it being my 1st time and using YouTube to check as well..... fantastic idea product....

Just installed today so I may be getting a little ahead of my self. However, this was the perfect replacement for my moen shower. It arrived overnight while I was still waiting for the first on the original one I ordered. I popped the old one out and new one in, in a little over 30 minutes and that’s just because I was being extra careful and triple checking everything I was doing. It seems that the rubber seals degraded on my old one so the handle couldn’t turn the water off. Now it glides with ease! I was worried, because water was still dripping while doing the install, it hadn’t stopped since the main was shut off, but it didn’t seem to be a problem in the end. No leaks and no temp issues. This came with everything the oem part did except this one replaced a plastic piece with metal, so that was a nice upgrade! The tool is stuck to the old valve right now, but that’s a problem for another day.

Honestly, I will really hesitate to buy this but, it was so much cheaper than Home Depot so I thought I would give it a try. It actually worked perfectly with my Moen shower thing. I compared it to the original Moen cartridge and they were identical. I just installed it today so time will tell tell but as of now I’m extremely happy with the product and the price!

The kit is complete and the removal tool is essential to make the work easier. The material is better than the original. Recommend to see some videos on how to use the tool. Highly recommended!

Make sure to lubricate the black rubber on both side . Also a good thing to sand lightly inside of the shower unit to smooth things out .

I bought this in September 2024. It started a little drip in beginning of 2026, now it runs like a river. I sent a message to the seller but haven't heard back in 4 days. Please be aware buying from this seller...

the cartridge was defective. A plumber took it to a hardware store and had it replaced as there is a guarantee on it. The Cartridge remover the plumber took as payment for replacing the cartridge for us.
