The best pair of boots I have ever bought! They are super comfortable , fit perfectly and are absolutely worth the price. I will be making all my future boots purchases from "Steel Edge Shoes" from now on after the excellent Customer service I received from them ,that got my new boots to me before both of Amazon's estimated dates for delivery and by going the extra mile and by sending me two emails after my purchase was delivered asking if everything was okay with my new boots.

So far, I really like these. The strings are holding up and I haven't noticed any fraying anywhere on the boots yet. The rubber on the bottom is quite slick on oily/greasy surfaces in the beginning, but most boots are when they're brand new; nothing a little scraping and sliding around on some pavement and gravel won't fix. Can't comment much on the inner soles as I use orthotic inserts, but everywhere else, they're quite comfortable! Definitely worth the price.

Fit as expected, comfortable enough for work boots, and I know from experience they will last many seasons. Would buy again.

With most steel toe boots running over $100 I was surprised at the quality and comfort of these when they arrived. The size was perfect and the fact that they seem to be really stylish and well made was a bonus.

For the most part these boots are good. They aren't uncomfortable, but they do not grip well on wet or oily surfaces. Or at least not as well as my old redwings.. Obviously oily steel is always going to be slippery, but I have had to be much more careful walk on slick surfaces with these boots. They also seem to retain gunk on the soles, not between the treads, it actually seems as though the rubber is absorbent. Good insulation and great price though. I hope this helps.

I've been wearing this type of work boot for almost 20 years and this pair ranks up with my favorite. They look good, they're comfortable, and they feel well constructed. I prefer a lower ankle boot since I wear shorts a lot and these are about an inch lower than my Timberlands so I really like that. Granted, I've only worn these one day so the true test will be to see how they hold up over time. Based on what a couple reviewers had said about theirs being too small, I ordered my pair a half size up. I wear a 10 in sneakers. When they came they were too big. I returned them and got the 10's and they fit perfectly and I even wear sole inserts. At first my toes did rub the steel cup a little but after the cushioning breaks down a bit it wasn't noticeable. I could see someone with wide feet maybe having a problem but, if so, try to order a wide because the size up will be too long, as well.

These boots are far lighter than I expected. My last pair of work boots were far heavier but the construction seems about the same. These feel very solid - the sole seems like it will be great for hard work and the steel toe is awesome. I have not used these in the yard yet - so they are still spotless :) If you are in need of great work boots, look no further. I highly recommend them.

When I had to sew my last pair of shoes together I decided to look for some new shoes. This wouldn't be easy as I wear size fifteens, something most stores don't carry. I was looking for something durable, functional, and wouldn't stand out too much. These fit the bill nicely and will hopefully last a long time. While the toe cap sometimes causes problem with my wide feet over time it hardly ever bothers me.
