These bookends were just what I was looking for! Very simple, sturdy, and they blend in well with my books. The color is solid black, and there are non-slip pads on the bottom. Very good for the price!

Very good and sturdy with changes could be five star
A fine bookend that holds up some of my heavier larger books! This gets a four versus five star because to improvements could be made First it would be good for shelving protection if the entire bottom had felt or cork padding in particular the edges while rounded or middle and can scrape wood Second if I take out more than one book that is at the end of the bookend and on it, the stand and can lean - a short piece of metal on the opposite side of the horizontal piece would correct that Just some suggestions..
