My kids enjoyed comparing the various and finding them on the informative chart that comes with the book. There are 10 big samples and so many small ones. It comes with sharks teeth, fool's gold and even fossilized dinosaur poo. A good educational tool kids will come back to again and again. Nat Geo rocks!

予想よりも相当量の鉱石が入っています。概ね小粒な物が多いですが、それでも大人も一緒になって十分に楽しめました。アクセサリー等のアート製作の材料にもなるかと思います。

鉱物や化石が好きな子へのプレゼントとして購入しました。高評価レビューが山ほどついてるものの日本からのレビューは0件だし、海外からの発送とのことでどんなものが届くか若干不安がありましたが、期待通りの品が届きました。また、クリスマスに間に合わないかもと思いつつの注文でしたが、予定より早く届いて助かりました。注文したのは12月5日(土)です。購入前の画面には「12月17日～28日」に到着と表記されており、注文履歴の配送状況画面では「12月28日までに到着」となっていました。到着まで２～３週間の設定ですが、実際には9日後の14日(月)にとどきました。輸送が順調であれば1週間+αで届くようです。配送はヤマト運輸の国際宅急便でした。羽田で受付するとアマゾンの配送状況画面に追跡番号(トラッキングＩＤ)が反映され、ヤマト運輸の「国際宅急便貨物追跡」のページで輸送状況を確認できるようになります。ちなみに今回の注文では　荷受 12/9 米国ヤマトニューヨーク支店　出荷 12/10　米国ヤマトニューヨーク支店　到着 12/13　羽田クロノゲート支店輸入通関　12/13　羽田クロノゲート支店　国内発送　12/13　国際宅急便サービスセンター　配達完了　12/14　となっておりました。商品は輸送箱に入った状態でクッション袋に入れられており、商品外箱の傷・汚れ・破損等は全くありませんでした。　写真1枚目：商品(手前）輸送箱(左側）クッション袋(奥）しかし、輸送箱の中は砂・土（ジオードが削れたものと思われます）にまみれているので、砂粒が散らばっても大丈夫な場所であらかじめ拭くものを用意して開封することをお勧めします。商品本体の箱の中も同様に細かい砂にまみれてますので、プレゼントにする場合はあらかじめ開梱して拭いておくといいと思います。(外装箱はテープ留めされていないので事前開梱できました）以下、中身についてです。標本は袋等に5つに小分けにされていました(写真2枚目）。　①全長1cm前後の石の袋　②全長２～３ｃｍ程度の石の袋　③②よりも大きい原石っぽい石の袋　④ジオードの袋　⑤標本ケースに入ったもの (綿に包んであるので中身確認できず）付属品（写真3枚目）は　⑥黒の巾着小袋　⑦ルーペ　⑧識別ポスター（写真4枚目）　⑨解説冊子(写真5枚目）商品説明には「 残りの宝物を付属の収納バッグに入れて安全に保管しましょう。」と書かれていますが、付属の収納バッグ（⑥の巾着袋）はお気に入りの石を数個入れられる程度の大きさです。解説冊子は22ページもあって充実してます・・・英語なので読んでませんが。後ろの方に仏語、独語、スペイン語訳が載っています。(日本語訳がほしいところです・・・）ジオード割りができますし、とにかくいろんな種類の石がたくさん入っているので、石好きのお子さんなら絶対喜ぶと思います。どんな石が入っているのか、子どもと一緒に開封するのが楽しみです。

通算3個購入した感想です。最初の1個はアンモナイト(小)とそこそこ大きい天然石が10個以上+小さめ100個以上、貝とか歯の化石が色々、大きめのジオード2個という内容で文句なくコスパ最高でした。でも追加で2個購入したら中身が明らかに劣化していて、アンモナイト無し、天然石はほぼ砂利サイズ(200個以上はあるけど小さめ)、化石も微妙な感じ(歯の化石は良い)、ジオードは小さいのが2個+欠片という…。パッケージも少し変更されてるのでマイナーチェンジがあったようです。どちらが購入できるのかは届いてみないとわからないので、前者が来たらラッキーと思いましょう。でも後者はとにかく数は多いので、大きさより種類の多さが目当てならこちらもお得だと思います。

同梱されているガイドブックに掲載されている石は全部入っていないので要注意です。一番楽しみにしていた石が入っておらず、子どもがガッカリしていました。ジオードを自分で割ったり、種類ごとに分けたり、十分楽しめますが、少し割高かなと感じました。

いろいろな天然石が入っているし、あまり見かけないような石もあるので、この値段にしてはお得だと思います。

This has some nice big stones and good guide book, but when I bought this before, it had a lot of really SMALL bonus stones that we could put all over the place around the garden and outside to spice things up for the elementary school-age kids. But this time, the box only has large gems with no small ones. It was a little disappointing to not have a variety of sizes.

石やら貝殻やら好きなのでクリスマス用に購入。すごく喜んだのはいいが、その後は繋がらない。いまのとこは開けた時がピーク。

Purchased this for my 6 year old son who loves collecting shiny things like crystals and rocks. Would have been nice to have a more detailed booklet - not that its going to be read by the child, but it would be a good addition.I did note that many of the stones were much smaller than what appears in the video. There were a few bigger ones, but most were smaller than my pinky nail.Came with some fossils and a neat little clear case to put some items in.We did have to purchase a container to put everything in and sort it out. The bag is not big enough.

I bought it for me. Not a kid. I love rocks. Wish this was around when I was a kid. All the specimens are amazing and interesting to look at. The booklet and poster are great. The cracked geode was only as big as a marble. That made me laugh. But it's cute. The other two unbroken geodes are about the size of eggs. Love the fossils, shiny rocks, and raw pieces.I already have display ideas. Including using the chip pieces as a bed to display a couple of different personal items. Maybe in a glass jar. There is a plastic display case that came with this, too.I would love a follow-up set. Will keep my eyes peeled. I think this would be a great gift for a kid who shows interest in this sort of thing, as I did when I was a kid. I used to bring rocks home for my mother as gifts. That's the kind of kid who might really love this.

Wirklich ein Klasse Mineral Set, habe es nicht für meine Kinder sondern für mich selbst gekauft und bin für den Preis überwältigt.Edelsteine in drei Größen von Mini bis Groß,aber wundervollen Qualität und Fossilien die mich vom Hocker hauen.Habe ein vergleichbares No Name Produkt gekauft und darin warin nur schlecht geschnittene Restteile und die Fossilien so klein das man fast ein Mikroskop bräuchte.Aber dieses Produkt ist wirklich angemessen und die Erklärungen sind auch toll.Zwei Geoden zusätzlich zu den wunderschönen Steinen und den Klasse Fossilien.Kaufen wer Mineralien liebt!
