This fan is an absolute lifesaver! It’s powerful, quiet, and does an amazing job of keeping the room cool — even on the hottest days. As almost all agree, this is the BEST fan yet. The only downside to it is the size (around the size of a basketball), the rest is pretty much perfect. -It's quiet! On low it's almost completely silent. You need to be in a VERY quiet room to hear noise, and it's pretty much just because air is moving. Up until level 6 or so still falls below the ambient noise with a window open, but at 12 it's obviously loud because.. -It's POWERFUL! On it's highest (12) it's an air-pushing beast. It stops being quiet but if you're that in-need of a jet turbine moving air around a room, it's verrry capable! -Oscillation! The vertical and horizontal movement is amazing. There is 0 sound from it rotating. None. I don't know how they do it when literally every fan I've ever owned has at least SOME kind of creek or tick or some other audio evidence that it's moving, but this just glides side to side or up and down. -Overall use. This thing is so powerful my favourite way to use it is to put it by a window to suck in all that fresh cool air, aim it up and toward the corner of the room, pump it up to 12 and the temperature will plummet as if you've put on some kind of instant-AC. Try it, don't aim it directly at yourself, sit in your favourite chair or lay in bed and try to push the cool air up into a corner of the room. Use the remote to finely position it until it breezes around and the room and over you. It's the best way. !! I have however had a slight issue, it developed a bit of a noise. Box Limited (seller) was more than happy to RMA it and are currently looking at either repairing or replacing it. !!, but still, 5 stars overall!

Really good fan and purchased it based on over a thousand positive reviews on the John Lewis website. Amazon also sell this fan that cheaper than John Lewis do, although John Lewis do price match. Fully tested and really impressed by it's performance. 12 fan settings and even quiet on the highest setting. it also oscillates up and down, as well as left to right. Easy to operate and the remote is a nice touch. I was going to get the version on a stand, but this one is better to position in the home and the price difference is just not worth it. Just a shame the rain has returned and the temps have dropped again.

After seeing a friend's fan, and being impressed with just how quiet it actually is, I knew I had to have one to replace my regular noisy fan. It is well built (one caveat - see below), very powerful (the lowest setting has plenty of airflow and virtually silent), and while rounder, it doesn't take up any more space than my old desktop fan. I've now owned it for a year and a bit (purchased Dec 2023 - basically used it for an entire summer without a problem). However, after bringing it out and dusting it off for this years warmer weather, the bearing or something was making a rubbing noise, which while it didn't affect functionality, the noise did become annoying, especially as it isn't cheap for a fan. Not louder than my old regular one, but it did cost 5x more. After a briefly troubled back and fourth via customer services (not all their fault, Amazon support chat doesn't allow links, and attachments have size limits) and supplying them with a short video of the problem, they shipped out a replacement which arrived the next day. A+ for customer service. Silence has returned. I love my Meaco! I wasn't asked or paid for this review, just felt it deserved it.

I was looking for a decent fan. I wasn't interested in the bladeless as I never really rated them that much but in the same thought did not want a cheap rickety one that would keep me awake at night. I surprised myself by spending this amount of money on a fan but it did have one of the highest ratings and best descriptions on Amazon. Design is small and compact. Aesthetically it reminded me of a small version of women's hair dryers that they used to put over their head in hairdressers. Almost helmet shaped. It comes with a remote which magnetically attaches to front of fan when your not using it. You can use the remote or the fan itself to control it and the controls are straightforward. It looks good, not like a traditional fan. I bought it when it was 23 degrees on a night but when it arrived the temperature droped to a much more pleasant of 18 or 19 degrees. Because of this I have only had it on level 1 which is as powerful as other fans I have had. It has many levels above this which are much stronger, but even 1 provides a draft to the other side of the room although not overpowering at close distance. Comfortable. What makes this one special however is that not only does it swing left to right, it also moves up and down. And that means it cools the whole room, not just the area it's pointing. It is also very quiet, and whilst you can here a quiet hum in the dead of night, it is barely noticable, even on higher levels. Fantastic value for nonry

Note: my first fan had a fault which caused an annoying whining noise at lower speeds. Thanks to the excellent customer service from Meaco, a replacement was sent almost straight away. First the positives: this is an excellent fan. Easily the best desk fan I've owned, and I've owned a lot! It is indeed very quiet when compared to a standard fan. It also blows cooler than other fans at similar speeds, which I think is probably down to the blade design and the fact that the airflow is carefully directed by the shape of the surrounding case. So 10/10 for actual effectiveness. Now my negatives, which in no way detract from the actual performance of the fan itself. 1. The beeping noise every time you change a function is all well and good during the daytime, but if you're trying to change some settings in the bedroom late at night with a partner asleep next to you, well that can be so annoying (for them!). An option to turn off the beep would be appreciated. 2. The power cable length could do with being another metre longer. It's quite short. 3. The remote is a bit tacky for an item this expensive. It's also another thing that annoys me at night when the lights are off as it's hard to tell if you have it the right way round. The buttons need to be proper buttons, not those awful "bubble" buttons. Other than those minor niggles above this really is a brilliant fan and I am very happy with it. It's probably a little overpriced. I think it should be sold at around the £80 mark. I cannot fault the performance and the customer service however.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I like the aesthetic and chose this product over others after reading many reviews and knowing how good other products of theirs were. This didn’t disappoint. A very quiet fan which is good as it was bought for a bedroom. It has 12 speed settings and also goes up and down as well as oscillating side to side. You can set a timer to start it off or to stop it after a certain time in hourly increments. It has a remote control you can store in the centre of the fan head. Its magnetic. The fan isn’t perfect at picking up remote control signals but that’s to be expected when the fan is on the move. All in all I’m very pleased so far. It also has a two year warranty so definately register it online.

This fan is a game-changer. It’s quiet enough to sleep through, even on higher settings, but still moves a serious amount of air. The oscillation is super smooth, and the remote makes life easy. Bonus points for the eco mode and sleek design—it actually looks good in a room. It’s maybe a bit on the large size for some people due to it being needing quite a deep spot to fit it. Uses very little energy, so can keep it on all the time without worrying about shooting up your electricity bill (less than 1p / hour) Not the cheapest fan out there, but totally worth it for the performance and peace. Perfect for hot nights or stuffy home offices, and after having it for over 3 years now it’s remained sturdy and without issue.

La mia mamma anzianissima e allettata, ha spesso caldo ma non tollera i rumori. Comprato questo con grande esborso, ma avuto successo oltre le aspettative. E' diventato una confortevole compagnia silenziosa e rinfrescante per le sue notti lunghe e tristi. Telecomando un pochino piccolo e affollato di comandi, ma per fortuna il pulsante On/Off è in centro e abbastanza raggiungibile. Contento.

Uitstekende, lichtgewicht ventilator met meerdere oscillatie functies en afstandsbediening. Stille motor maakt het ook prima geschikt voor de slaapkamer. Fan is van Brits ontwerp, gemaakt in China maar van degelijk materiaal en robuust.

Brauchte einen Ventilator, der auch auf eine ganz niedrige Stufe zu stellen ist zB im Schlafzimmer - und dann sollte es auch keine Turbine sein :-) bin sehr zufrieden, weil die leise Stufe auch tatsächlich allenfalls ein leises Rauschen verursacht. Auf Stufe 12 geht das Ding aber auch ab, wenn man sich durchpusten lassen will. Habe einen Turmventilator, der angeblich leise ist - der lässt sich längst nicht so herunterregeln. Offenbar auch im Stromverbrauch ist der Meaco sparsam, was bei längerem Betrieb höchst wünschenswert ist. Alles in allem eine gute Investition. Hier habe ich gern mehr ausgegeben, weil der Gegenwert in meinen Augen stimmt.

je cherchais un ventilateur pour moins utiliser la climatisation... mon critere numero 1 : le silence exit dyson ... impossible de dormir avec ces trucs celui ci est vraiment ULTRA silencieux ravis
